Abstract: A seat assembly having a front and a back and adapted to be attached to a floor comprises a seat base and a seat back attached to the seat base, a seat belt mechanism attached to the seat base and free of the floor, a blast mitigation device attached to the seat base and adapted to be secured to the floor, wherein the blast mitigation device has a crumple zone which absorbs energy in the event of a blast, and a front impact dislocation resistance device mounted on the blast mitigation device with a pair of brackets. The front impact dislocation resistance device acts to resist separation of the seat base from the blast mitigation device.

Abstract: A mount adjustable end cap clamp lock used with an adjustable light source with one or both ends collared by a barrel-type end, which is rotatable within an end cap. The end cap has a mounting surface that works in conjunction with a fastener to secure the lighting system to an object. The clamp pad, which may extend beyond the mounting surface, is slidable relative to the end cap. When the fastener is tightened, the clamp pad slides relative to the end cap to press against the barrel to lock the barrel in angular position and secure the light source from rotating when the fastener is tightened to secure the lighting system to an object. The end cap in conjunction with the clamp pad serves a dual purpose.

Abstract: An engine cover and method of making the same with a textured surface with an in-mold coating. A noise abatement cover for top of an engine has a textured, in-mold coated, high quality outer appearance with a core of medium density polyurethane. The method of making the cover includes applying a mold release to grained aluminum tool and applying coating to at least one side of the grained aluminum tool to form an in-mold coating on the resulting engine cover, which is preferably a single piece.
Abstract: A rail is disclosed for a top of a wall of a trailer. The rail comprises a body adapted to engage the top of the wall. The body has a concave surface adapted to receive a cover reel.
Abstract: A kiln having a body with an internal chamber accessible via an opening which normally is closed by a closure that is movable. Lift apparatus effects movements of the closure between its closed and opened positions. The lift apparatus includes an arm which overlies the closure and is pivoted to a support independently of the kiln body for rotation about a second axis that is spaced a selected distance from the axis about which the closure rocks. The lift arm is connected to the closure by a pivot coupling which maintains the lift arm and the closure substantially parallel and uniformly spaced apart throughout the movements of the closure. The pivotal connection of the lift arm to the closure enables relative movement of the lift arm and the closure during movements thereof to avoid imposing appreciable stress on either the arm or the closure.

Abstract: A tarp system with a knuckle arm assembly having a housing on an upper aim with a bent enclosure with a flexible torque shaft substantially within the enclosure, such as an extruded tube. A first end of the flexible torque shaft may be used in conjunction with a motor, preferably mounted away from the bend in the enclosure to minimize the envelope of the tarp system around a container of a container of a trailer or rail car. A second end of the flexible torque shaft is attached to an axle shaft for a roller or the like that is used in conjunction with a tarp.
Abstract: A multipurpose leash including an elongated strap, a fastener on each end of the strap, an adjustable ring that is movable along the strap, and at least one stationary ring attached to the strap, such as a first stationary ring affixed at an end of the strap and a second stationary ring attached along the length of the strap. The adjustable ring preferably slides along the strap with an oval, circular or D-shaped ring transverse to the strap. The multiple uses and functions include use with two pets, hands-free use with one end of the strap capable of being wrapped around the waist of the human user, and an adjustable length with fasteners connected to various rings.
Abstract: Methods and compositions to a clathrate that includes chlorine dioxide (ClO2) are provided. Clathrates trap gaseous chlorine dioxide to provide a dry solid material that is stable and easy to use and handle. Stable formulations of gaseous chlorine dioxide are useful as disinfectants.
Abstract: A beverage container is provided for mounting to vehicles such as power boats, sailboats and recreational vehicles. The beverage container holder is adapted for mounting to support platforms on the vehicle which may be any suitable vehicle structure such as the armrest of a chair. The beverage container holder comprises a mounting ring which is first rigidly affixed to the support platform, and further comprises a cylindrical can having an upper circumferential rim which fits over the mounting ring and includes detents that positively lock the rim onto the mounting ring.

Abstract: A unit for returning a cover of a trailer comprising a first portion, a cord, and a spring. The spring is connected to the first portion. The cord having first and second ends, the first end of the cord being connectable to the first portion, the second end of the cord being connected to the cover, and the cord being wrappable around the first portion.
Abstract: A rotary cutting tool comprises a rotary die cylinder having an axis of rotation, a pair of sides and a cylindrical surface, a die plate positioned around the cylindrical surface of the die cylinder and rigidly attached to the die cylinder at a first location, and an adjustable slide assembly operatively connecting the die plate to the die cylinder at a second location, and slidable with respect to the die cylinder between a retracted position and an extended position. The adjustable slide assembly is slidable along either a first direction around the axis of rotation of the die cylinder or a second direction parallel to the axis of rotation of the die cylinder. Adjustment of the adjustable slide assembly adjusts the position of the die plate with respect to the cylinder. The cylinder may be formed as a single piece assembly or as a first piece and a bar attached to the first piece. The bar can be machined to define in combination with the first piece the cylindrical surface.
Abstract: A latch assembly is disclosed comprising a handle pivotable from a first position to a second position, a slider movable in response to movement of the handle between the first position and the second position, and a pivot pivotable between an upright position and a foldable position, wherein when the handle is in the first position the pivot is locked in one of the upright position and the foldable position, and when the handle is moved to the second position the pivot is movable between the upright position and the foldable position.
