  • Patent number: 5910002
Abstract: A gun trigger safety device for double action revolvers and other guns which holds the trigger in an unfireable position is disclosed. The gun trigger safety device comprises a plug that is molded to conform to the space defined by the inner perimeter of the gun trigger guard behind the trigger. The trigger is held in an unfireable condition when the plug is properly inserted. The gun trigger safety device includes flexible, asymmetrical flanges formed on both sides thereof which partially extend around the trigger guard and the rear edge of the trigger to secure the safety device in position. The flange on the entering side of the gun trigger safety device will bend as it is pushed into the trigger guard housing behind the trigger. The leading edge of the entering flange is radiused to facilitate insertion of the device into its functional position behind the trigger. In one embodiment the asymmetrical flanges are configured so as to be released from the right side of the weapon by right handed persons.

  • Patent number: 5890422
Abstract: This invention is a barbecue type grill that can be used either indoors or outdoors. By diposing a convertible drip pan that can be opened and closed between the food supporting rack and the cooking heat source, rapid preheating can be accomplished as well as searing of desired food products, followed by closing of the drip pan to prevent unwanted flare-ups caused by juices dripping from the food being cooked. This closing of the drip pan allows the food to cook slower than over direct heat which allows the food to retain more juices when done. This invention overcomes the slow preheating and slow initial cooking inherent in the prior art using a solid impervious drip pan. Also, since different types of heat sources can be used in conjunction with the present invention, the problem of the bottom of the housing rusting out in the area adjacent the round burner below the heat deflecting plate is effectively eliminated.

  • Patent number: 5842741
Abstract: An improved portable patio swing of the type being suspended from a free-standing, overhead support frame. The patio swing includes a swing seat including a sling cushion that is suspended within a peripheral seat frame including a pair of opposed, S-shaped arm members being interconnected by seat frame cross-members. The sling cushion features a plurality of articulating compartments formed therein which are capable of folding across the width thereof to conform to the back and rear end of the occupant of the swing. The swing seat is suspended within the overhead support means by predetermined lengths of linked chain or other suitable connecting means which position the swing seat at the desired inclination in relation to the supporting frame.

  • Patent number: 5730006
Abstract: This invention is a garment de-wrinkler that includes a garment bag with a threaded opening in the bottom thereof. A device for controlling the interior environment of the garment bag is inserted into the opening in the bag. The environmental controller is in the form of an exterior canister that is open at both end with a fan mounted adjacent the exterior end. A second canister is mounted interiorly of the exterior canister and includes heating electrodes to create steam from the water or other liquid contained in the interior canister. Air heating elements are provided in the area between the interior wall of the exterior canister and the exterior wall of the interior canister so that when ambient air is blown over the coil the air will be heated prior to entering the garment bag.
