  • Patent number: 7594878
Abstract: This invention relates to a whole body vibrator platform which is attachable to a treadmill. The treadmill belt provides the power to move the platform, translating the horizontal, linear, belt movement into vertical oscillations through one or more eccentrically mounted rollers which support the platform. A person standing on the vibrator platform experiences a vertical vibration at frequencies established by the linear velocity of the treadmill belt.

  • Patent number: 7588254
Abstract: A garment transportation and the drying device is provided with a transportation frame for carrying a container for garments, and a drying frame, the drying frame being deployable for supporting garments to be dried when the device is used in drying mode. The transportation frame provides support for a container such as a hockey bag and may be mounted on wheels to operate as a dolly. The drying frame includes a series of drying supports, preferably in the form of cantilevered arms extending from a central support post. Items to be dried such as gloves, etc., may be slid over the free ends of the cantilevered arms.

  • Patent number: 7563373
Abstract: Processes, methods and systems are provided herein for lowering the concentration of phosphorus in wastewater. The process includes adding a suitable amount of an aluminum-based coagulant/flocculent, for example, an aluminum-silicate coagulant/flocculent product to the wastewater while maintaining the pH of the wastewater at between about 4.5 and about 6.65. This step provides an eventual effluent stream of precipitated aluminum-based, phosphorus-containing flocs dispersed in the wastewater. The next step involves physically removing, as by filtering, the precipitated aluminum-based, phosphorus-containing flocs which is dispersed in the wastewater. These steps are able to provide a wastewater effluent containing less than about 0.03 mg total phosphorus per liter of wastewater. The disclosure also teaches novel methods and systems for carrying out the novel process.

  • Patent number: 7493853
Abstract: A baler, comprising a compacting mechanism and a binding mechanism is provided. The compacting mechanism comprises a bearing plane against which cardboard is compressed. This baler includes a compacting mechanism and rope tightening mechanism. In using the baler of the invention, a cardboard compacting platform is pulled up towards the compacting bearing plane along a channel in a frame. The compacting platform is pulled up by mechanical force and dragged downwards by its weight. A rope clamp placed on each side of the rack combine with the rope retracting ratchet gear and other elements from a rope tightening mechanism to tie up the compacting cardboard.

  • Patent number: 7434446
Abstract: A gas separation system for extraction of gas from pressurized fluid has a gas sampling interface and gas circulation tubing to pass sampled gas to a gas sensor to determine the character or a property of the gas. The gas sampling interface includes a semi-permeable membrane in the form of tubing having an inner core volume with an internal support that provides multiple supporting surfaces to prevent collapse of the tubing wall against external pressure and provides interstitial spaces for the flow of gas. Internal supports may include a coil of spring-like configuration fitted coaxially within the tubing; or multiple filaments that form a longitudinal bundle within the core of the tubing, or both. An outer tubular conduit surrounding the semi-permeable membrane tubing provides a flow path for the external fluid to increase the rate of diffusion of dissolved gases through the semi-permeable membrane.
