The system further includes a module for forecasting or predicting unit performance and cost information, by allowing the user to alter unit configuration and fuel constituency data to model planned maintenance and projected fuel changes, and to account for anticipated atmospheric conditions.
Abstract: An accelerometer that lies generally in a plane, for detecting acceleration along an input axis. There is a substrate, a generally planar Servo Member (SM) flexibly coupled to the substrate such that it is capable of oscillatory motion about a servo axis that lies in the plane, a generally planar Torque Summing Member (TSM) coplanar with and flexibly coupled to the SM such that the TSM is capable of rotary motion relative to the SM about an output axis that is in the plane and orthogonal to the servo axis, wherein the TSM is mass-imbalanced relative to the output axis, and a generally planar rotor coplanar with and flexibly coupled to the TSM such that it is capable of rotary oscillatory motion relative to the TSM about a rotor axis that is orthogonal to the plane of the members. There are drives for oscillating the rotor about the rotor axis and for oscillating the SM about the servo axis. Output sensors detect oscillation of the rotor about the rotor axis and of the SM about the servo axis.

The camera can be used for retinal imaging and for otoscopy.
Abstract: Systems and methods for integrating position reports from mobile assets with real time environmental data aggregated from various sources to build and continually update, in real time, an amalgamated database that contains the position information and collocated environmental parameters. The amalgamated database may be queried, and the extracted information may be processed for analysis and displayed or reported to a user.
Abstract: A locking shoulder joint adapted to be attached to a user's shoulder, generally comprising a rotor provided with a plurality of radially positioned pins, that rotates relative to a stator, and a cam provided with one or more plungers adapted to engage said rotor pins to releasably lock said rotor in position selected by said user, all of which act to move a humeral member in a direction corresponding to a flexion/extension direction of the shoulder joint; and a yoke coupled to an axle for moving the humeral member in a direction corresponding to an abduction/adduction direction of the shoulder joint.

Abstract: Arrays and methods for detecting one or more biological molecules, where the methods generally comprise the steps of: providing a first support immobilized with one or more reagents; providing a second support immobilized with one or more of ligands; contacting the reagents immobilized to the first support with the ligands immobilized on the second support whereby one or more of the reagents bind to one or more of the ligands; and separating the first support from the second support so that one or more of the bound reagents remain bound to one or more ligands on the second support after separation. In one preferred method, proteins are immobilized on a support with adequate strength so that the proteins can be dissociated from the support under certain conditions, such as after binding with other proteins immobilized on another support.
Abstract: An improved medium access protocol is divided into two tasks: collision avoidance and contention resolution. The purpose of the collision avoidance is to avoid occasional collisions due to the synchronization of channel access among different stations. The purpose of contention resolution is to control the overall sending rate of competing stations when the shared channel is operating at or near its capacity limits, such that excessive collisions can be avoided. Contention resolution methods in accordance with the present invention include a graceful rate control mechanism.
Abstract: This invention details apparatus and methods for a unique integrated duct probe assembly system that enables multipoint sampling systems to cost effectively measure air parameters in partially confined locations such as ductwork, plenums, and air handlers with both remote and local sensors with a minimum of duct penetrations.
Abstract: A micro Kelvin probe assembly and method of accomplishing a micro Kelvin measurement that determines the resistance or impedance of a device under test (DUT) that has two spaced contacts. An ammeter is used to flow current through the DUT, and a voltmeter is used to measure the voltage drop across the DUT. There is a printed circuit board (PCB) carrying two pairs of contacts, with a trace leading to each contact. Anisotropic conductive elastomer (ACE) material as an electrical interposer is placed in electrical contact with each of the PCB contacts. The DUT is placed on the ACE such that each DUT contact is directly opposite one pair of PCB contacts. The ammeter is connected to one trace leading to one contact of each pair of PCB contacts to flow current through the DUT, and the voltmeter is connected to the other trace leading to the other contact of each pair of PCB contacts, so that voltmeter can measure the voltage drop across the DUT without an effect caused by the interposer.
Abstract: A gyroscope that lies generally in a plane, for detecting rotation rate about a gyro input axis. The gyroscope has a substrate, and a generally planar support member flexibly coupled to the substrate such that it is capable of oscillatory motion about a drive axis that is orthogonal to the input axis. There is also a generally planar gyro member coplanar with and flexibly coupled to the support member such that it is capable of rotary oscillatory motion relative to the support member about an output axis that is orthogonal to the plane of the members. There are one or more drives for directly or indirectly oscillating the gyro member about the drive axis, and one or more gyro output sensors that detect oscillation of the gyro member about the output axis.
