Abstract: A set of modular panels for providing water containment tanks and adjacent structures. The set comprises at least one panel, which is made at least partly of composite material which is substantially water-repellent and has any shape and size depending on design requirements, the perimetric walls of each panel being provided with watertight anchoring to the contiguous panels.
Abstract: A masterbatch composition comprising an aromatic polyester resin, a polyolefin and a polyfunctional compound selected from the dianhydrides of tetracarboxylic aromatic and/or aliphatic acids and the polyepoxidic compounds, wherein the polyester resin and the polyfunctional compounds are omogeneously dispersed as solids in a matrix formed by the polyolefin, as domains of average particle size less than 800?. The masterbatch is prepared by milling polyester resins and polyolefin granules to obtain powders having average particle size of less than 200?, and the powders are therafter homogeneously mixed.
Abstract: A needle for transferring stitches therefrom to adjacent needles for hosiery knitting machines comprises a shank, a head, arranged at a longitudinal end, or upper end, of the shank, and a latch which is pivoted to the shank proximate to the head, about a pivoting axis which is substantially perpendicular to the longitudinal axis of the shank and can rotate about the pivoting axis in order to open or close the head. The needle comprises at least one elastically flexible lamina, which is associated with the shank and forms, on the two opposite sides of the shank, below the latch, two receptacles, one for each side of the shank. The head of an adjacent needle can be inserted in each of the receptacles, in order to transfer the loop of knitting, from the needle being considered to the adjacent needle.
Abstract: The present invention relates to a method for preparing 2-alkoxy and 2-aryloxyestrogen compounds, and the intermediate compounds prepared during the use of this method, which intermediate compounds are useful intermediates in the preparation of certain physiologically active compounds.
Abstract: A knitting machine with latch needles and without sinkers comprising, in regions of the needle holder comprised between two contiguous slots which accommodate a corresponding needle, a knitting retention element with a portion forming a stop shoulder for the knitting; the knitting retention element can move on command from a first position, of no interference with the knitting formed, to a second position, of it insertion with the portion between two contiguous needles in a region which faces the knitting forming plane, such as retain the knitting portion lying between two contiguous needles, contrasting the entrainment of the knitting along the needles during extraction motion of the needles from the needle holder to release, onto their shank, the previously formed loop of knitting and/or to engage the yarn delivered at a feed or drop of the machine.
Abstract: A label application assembly for labeling machines in general, comprising, downstream of a label feeder, a plate for picking up the labels, which is connected to means for transfer onto the product to be labeled, safety means being provided which are interposed between the pick-up plate and the transfer means and are adapted to intervene when the pick-up plate interacts with obstacles interposed in the region where the pick-up plate moves.
Abstract: An intrusion-prevention enclosure of the type comprising a plurality of modular panels, that are mutually associatable in an orderly and predefined manner to provide a barrier structure, a plurality of ground support posts provided with detachable upper retention elements for lateral uprights of the panels, and a plurality of lower collars, which are arrangeable at adjustable heights along the posts and are provided with a peripherally distributed plurality of wings, which can engage detachably open lower ends of the uprights. Each wing forms a lateral supporting surface for the base of the open lower end, which allows tilting of the panel in a preset direction, with the retention elements in the configuration for releasing the panels.
Abstract: A valve for adjusting the flow-rate of fluids, servo-controlled by an electric motor having within a hermetic enclosure capsule and supported rotatably with a support for reducing rotary friction, the rotor component of the electric motor with a screw-and-nut coupling with a flow control element restrained to perform only axial translational motions in a valve body provided with intake and discharge ports and fixed coaxially to the capsule. The support is provided by a radial bearing and associated with the rotor component in a position corresponding to the portion of the rotor component inside which the screw-and-nut coupling is provided.
Abstract: A device for feeding yarns for knitting machines comprising a supporting element arranged on the inner side of the machine bed which supports a set of yarn guides arranged side-by-side. Each of the yarn guides has a passage for at least one yarn to be fed to the needles of the machine arranged in the bed and the supporting element, for each of the yarn guides, supports an element for clamping and cutting the yarn dispensed by the corresponding yarn guide. A first actuator for the yarn guides is provided for the passage of the yarn guides from an inactive position to an active position, and a second actuator is provided for actuating the clamping and cutting elements. The first actuator comprises individual actuators actuated to produce passage of each of the yarn guides from the inactive position to the active position or vice versa.
Abstract: An opening and closing device, associated with the rolling block and receiver of a hunting or sports gun, comprises a key that is hinged by a tube to the upper part of the rolling block, and a bolt that is actuated by a shaped end of the key and is slidably mounted on the rolling block in such a way that it can be moved from a retracted, open position in which the bolt is entirely inside the rolling block, and an advanced, closed position in which the bolt protrudes from the front of the rolling block with two arms designed to lock by friction two matching mortises made in the receiver; the arms extend from the ends of a shoulder of the bolt and the shaped end of the key has a first cam designed to exert a pushing action to the central portion of the shoulder in order to disengage the arms from the mortises.
