  • Patent number: 6360875
Abstract: A conveyor belt scraper tensioner consisting of a blade mounted on a rotatable axle and rotatably biased into the conveyor belt by means of a folded elastomeric biasing medium affixed at one end to a fixed flange and affixed at the other end to a rotatable flange mounted on said scraper blade axle. Typically one tensioning device would be used on each scraper blade axle, although dual devices mounted at each end of the scraper blade axle may be employed when desired. Additionally, the scraper blade tensioner may be fitted with a movement limiting chain to prevent the scraper blade from being drawn into and gouging the conveyor belt as the blade wears or when encountering material tightly adhered to the conveyor belt surface. A slab of gum rubber is the preferred elastomeric biasing material, however other suitable elastomeric materials may be employed.

  • Patent number: 6003261
Abstract: A device for remotely decoying deer by imitating the sound of deer antlers clashing, comprised of a housing having a movable striker mounted therein. The housing is provided with a series of protrusions which are in interfering contact with the striker and mimic the sound of clashing antlers when contacted by the striker. The striker is provided with a pull line for remotely actuating the striker and with a spring for returning the striker to its pre-actuated position. The present invention may also be provided with a hinge for aligning the device with the direction of pull, a cover for shielding any movement within the device and a cannister for deploying deer scent.

  • Patent number: 5826703
Abstract: A motionless conveyor belt idler system for replacing conventional conveyor rotating belt idler systems consisting of a plurality of fixed, straight, low friction belt support bars of equal length, made of ultra high molecular weight polyethylene, for slideably supporting the product side and the return side of a conveyor belt. All fixed, straight, low friction belt support bars are slideably mounted on the idler system frame to permit easier replacement even when the conveyor belt is loaded with product. All of said belt support bars are identically configured to be interchangeable with one another. Additionally the conveyor belt idler system may be provided with fixed, straight low friction conveyor belt product side and return side edge guides which are also constructed of ultra high molecular weight polyethylene, and which are identically configured with the fixed, belt support idlers in all dimensions except length.
