Abstract: A method for designing an optical device which includes a lens and a microlens array is disclosed. A point spread function (PSF) of the lens including rotationally symmetrical aberration coefficients is formulated, wherein the PSF presents various spherical spot sizes. A virtual phase mask having phase coefficients is provided and the phase coefficients are added to the PSF of the lens, such that the various spherical spot sizes are homogenized. The virtual phase mask is transformed into a polynomial function comprising high and low order aberration coefficients. A surface contour of the lens is determined according to the rotationally symmetrical aberration coefficients and the low order aberration coefficients, and a sag height of each microlens in the microlens array is determined according to the high order aberration coefficients. An optical device using the design method is also disclosed.

Abstract: A plug security structure includes a plug, a cable, a jacket, a movable cap and a key. By means of a middle block, the movable cap is slidably insertable into sliding grooves in between two upright sidewalls of a front bracket of the jacket to stop the front stop block and to have outer ribs of the elastic retaining members of the movable cap be stopped at rear end edges of the sliding grooves in the upright sidewalls of the front bracket, preventing the latch from downward displacement to unlock the plug from the mating jack and assuring a high level of network data transmission safeness. The cap has a raised portion for friction engagement with the bottom surface of the stop wall of the front bracket of the jacket, preventing vibration or displacement of the movable cap and assuring positive operation of the latch of the plug.

Abstract: An adjustable structure for lamp stand, in which a swivel mount is fitted to the upper portion of a base, thereby enabling ends of a first bar support and a telescopic link to be pin connected to the swivel mount, while the other ends are pin connected to a second bar support. A lamp swivel component is disposed on the end of the second bar support. Accordingly, relative positions between the first bar support, the second bar support and the telescopic link can be freely adjusted, while still providing stable support to the structure.

Abstract: A muscular energy state analysis system and method for a swing motion and a computer program product thereof are provided. The system includes: a swing implement, for a user to perform the swing motion, and including an acceleration sensor for sensing acceleration of the swing implement when the swing implement is swung, so as to generate a swing speed data; a plurality of signal detection modules, for detecting electromyographic (EMG) signals generated by a muscles of the user; a database, for storing a muscular energy sample value,; a muscular energy analysis module, for analyzing the EMG signals and the swing speed data so as to obtain a plurality of muscular performance values; and a comparison module, for comparing the swing speed data and the muscular performance values with the at least one muscular energy sample value in the database, so as to generate a comparison result data.

Abstract: A method recognizing dice dots comprises the steps: projecting at least one dice with a plurality of different angle light sources; capturing a plurality of images of the dice according to the projecting times of the light sources on the dice; and recognizing dice dots based on the images through calculation methods. When recognized results obtained through the calculation methods are judged same by the recognizing module the dice dots are confirmed and accepted. If the recognized results done through the calculation methods are different, the dice is rolled anew.

Abstract: An oil water mixture heating apparatus comprises a metal outer barrel with a helical trough formed inside, a metal inner barrel held in the metal outer barrel to form a helical passage with the helical trough, a first and a second guide cap coupled on two sides of the metal outer and inner barrels, a first and a second seal cap coupled respectively on the first and second guide caps, a first and a second holder fixedly located on outer sides of the two seal caps and an electric heater encasing the metal outer barrel. When combustible oil or oil water mixture enters the helical passage and are heated by the electric heater, the oil or oil water mixture also is constantly blended in the helical passage so that it is heated rapidly to a required temperature and forms a finer oil water mixture.

Abstract: A multifunctional USB flash drive organizer includes a main unit, an interior of which is provided with a containing chamber to put USB flash drives. A side of the containing chamber is pivoted with USB sockets which can turn and a wire containing slot is provided beside the containing chamber. The main unit is provided with a wire collection device and a USB connector, with that a connection cable of the USB connector is electrically interconnected with the wire collection device. In addition, multiple USB flash drives can all operate at a same time. A wallet unit encloses the main unit as a box which is convenient in labeling for drive management and can be carried easily.

Abstract: A method for transmitting a man-machine operation picture, a mobile video device thereof, and a video system using the same are provided, which are applicable to a first mobile video device and a second mobile video device wirelessly connected to each other, and the first mobile video device includes a first screen. A display picture data is obtained from a video buffer of the first screen. The first screen displays a first picture according to the display picture data. The first mobile video device converts the display picture data into a video data compliant to a video format, and transfers the video data to the second mobile video device according to a video communication protocol. The second mobile video device displays a second picture according to the received video data, and a displaying content of the second picture substantially includes a displaying content of the first picture.

Abstract: A mainframe structure includes a housing having a front opening, flanges on one same plane around the front opening and stop members suspending on the inside corresponding to the flanges, a circuit module accommodated in the housing, and a cover detachably mounted in the front opening of the housing and stopped against the flanges and the stop member. The cover has two slots symmetrically disposed at two opposite lateral sides, two lugs respectively disposed adjacent to the slots and two handles respectively mounted in the slots and pivoted to the lugs in reversed directions. By means of biasing the two handles to stop against respective stop members, the user can detach the cover from the housing conveniently with the hands without any hand tools.

Abstract: An oil pressure includes a housing, a pressure sensing unit mounted in the housing and a first signal generator. Because the pressure sensing unit is provided with a pusher and an elastic piece that is able to uniformly receive a force exerted from the pusher such that the pusher can uniformly drive a swing member of the first signal generator, the oil pressure sensor can output an accurate oil pressure signal.

Abstract: Disclosed is a storage virtualization subsystem (SVS) architecture comprising a plurality of SVSs, each SVS comprising at least one storage virtualization controller (SVC), and, in some cases, a physical storage disk (PSD) array attached to the SVC. A first and a second data access path is configured passing through the SVSs to form the SVS architecture such that when one path is failed, the other can be taken as a substitution. The SVSs in the first path are connected in a first sequence and the SVSs in the second path are connected in a second sequence different from the first one. In another embodiment, each SVS comprises a plurality of redundantly-configured SVCs rather than one SVC. The first path is formed passing through a first set of SVCs and the second path is formed passing through a different second set of SVCs.

Abstract: An artificial eyelash structure includes a mounting member having a bonding portion for adhering to an eyelid and a bendable portion for enabling the bonding portion to be curved into a smoothly arched shape when bending the bonding portion upwards or downwards, and multiple eyelashes connected with the mounting member. The artificial eyelash structure is prepared by: forming a mounting member from a thin film, and then processing the thin film of the mounting member into a bonding portion and a bendable portion such that the bendable portion enables the bonding portion to be bent upwards or downwards, and then connecting eyelashes with the mounting member.

Abstract: An inkjet printing system includes: a liquid supply tank; a print device with at least one print cartridge, wherein there is an altitude difference between the print cartridge and the liquid supply tank; an internal pressure-adjusting device connecting to the liquid supply tank and the print cartridge; and working software for calculating a preliminary altitude, and a predetermined liquid supplementing altitude of the print cartridge. When a liquid level of a liquid inside the print cartridge is lower than the preliminary altitude and below an lower limit of the predetermined liquid supplementing altitude, the working software controls the internal pressure-adjusting device to suck partial gas from the print cartridge into the liquid supply tank to increase a negative pressure inside the print cartridge, and the liquid stored in the liquid supply tank is introduced into the print cartridge to balance the negative pressure inside the print cartridge.

Abstract: A mainframe structure includes a housing having a detachable front cover, and a circuit module accommodated in the housing. The circuit module includes a main circuit board affixed to the back side of the detachable front cover in vertical and carrying first and second electrical connectors, a chip (or chips) and memory devices, a functional circuit board horizontally mounted in the housing at the bottom side and having a first connection port connected to the first electrical connector of the main circuit board, and a display circuit board vertically mounted in the housing at the top side and having a second connection port connected to the second electrical connector of the main circuit board. The detachable design of the circuit module minimizes the sizes of the main circuit board and facilitates maintenance of the main circuit board.

Abstract: An electric bed includes a bed frame, a power converter mounted with the bed frame for converting a 110V AC power to a 5V DC power, and a USB receptacle mounted to the bed frame and electrically connected with the power converter for transmitting the 5V DC power generated by the power converter. By this way, a user lying down on the electric bed can charge an electric device through the USB receptacle without leaving the electric bed, thereby enhancing the convenience of the user.

Abstract: An enclosed space monitoring system includes a controller and a plurality of sensors. The sensors may include a humidity sensor, a water presence sensor, a water pump operation sensor, a temperature sensor, a radon gas detector, a propane or natural gas detector, a smoke sensor, a carbon monoxide detector and a motion sensor. Environmental parameter data obtained by the sensors is stored within a memory connected to the controller. The controller sends the data to a remote facility periodically and/or when the data indicates a potential condition within the space needing attention or remediation. The sent data is stored at the remote facility and may be accessed by a technician or an owner of the space. Also, the data may be comparatively studied relative to earlier data from the same space and to data collected in similar spaces to discern a potential condition needing attention or remediation.
