Abstract: A method and apparatus for fusing a preformed pour spout to the surrounding surface of a lid or container during the molding process. During molding the hot molten plastic of the lid or container contacts a relatively thick rim portion at the bottom of the pour spout to meet the thick rim portion and create fusing during the cooling of the mold. The pour spout has a flexible section to permit a portion of the fused pour spout to be moved between collapsed and extended positions.

Abstract: A process of and system for distributing, filtering, storing, recovering, and disposing of bulk edible oil or other fluid. The filtering system having a filter box assembly, superstructure and fluid transfer unit functions to filter the edible oil or other fluid, transfer the fresh (new) oil or other fluid for use in commercial vats and transfer spent (old) oil or other fluid to an outdoor supply and disposal storage tank. Two three-way valves coupled to two manual three-way valve switch handles operate to control the fluid transfer unit to intake fresh or old fluid and to dispense of the fresh or old fluid. A mobile transport truck couples to the outdoor supply and disposal storage tank for filling the supply and disposal storage tank with fresh (new) oil or other fluid and retrieves the spent (old) oil or other fluid.

Abstract: A joint system having one or more tetrahedral joints formed by three edge lapped flat pieces having complimentary open-ended slots which interlock in a construction composing one vertex of a tetrahedron. A plurality of tetrahedral joints can be interconnected by one or more interlocking flat pieces having open-ended slots at both ends to form a part of two or more tetrahedral joints in various configurations with other tetrahedral joints.

Abstract: A beverage brewing system having a bypass conduit for brewing and dispensing a selected volume of a brewed beverage from a beverage brewing chamber to a container. The bypass conduit distributes hot water beneath the brewing chamber to mix with the brewed beverage being dispensed to maintain flavor at higher selected volumes. The container interconnects by a connector assembly and switch to deliver electrical power to a heater in the container. A remote docking station also interconnects with the receptacle to supply electrical power to the heater of the container. A spray head having outward diverging flow is mounted above the brewing chamber to deliver hot water thereto.

Abstract: Reversible thread cutting tool holders having a holder body, a plate and a clamp for securing and orienting a cutting insert on opposite sides of the holder body. In one embodiment, the plate is a flat member being reversibly orientated on a top surface of the holder body and having a cut-out portion to receive part of the cutting tool. The clamp is attached to either side of the holder body and cooperates with the cut-out portion to secure the cutting insert. In a second embodiment, the holder body includes a cut-out portion to receive the cutting insert and the plate is an angle plate. The angle plate and clamp are selectively positioned on opposite surfaces of the holder body adjacent the cut-out portion to orient the cutting insert for opposite thread cuts.

Abstract: A bracket for suspending a box or container of tissue and the like having a flat base for attachment to a support surface, a bowed joint, and a resiliently mounted armature having a pointed end. A portion of the armature contacts the base in a manner to support the tissue. A stop is provided adjacent the joint to limit the insertion of the tissue on the bracket and to aid in support.

Abstract: A lubricated hinge pin having a hollow cylindrical body forming a grease reservoir. A plurality of ports are provided through the cylindrical body to lubricate an object pivotally attached to the pin. A grease fitting is provided at one end of the pin.

Abstract: A collapsible article divider and support having a plurality of pivotally interconnected vertical panels capable of forming one or more article receiving and supporting compartments. The divider and support is foldable to a flat transport and storage configuration. A plurality of rigid rods are permanently affixed to divider and support and are foldable with the panels.

Abstract: Saddlebag support bars and mounting plates for supporting saddlebags on a motorcycle. The mounting plates are flat members with a first end having a reduced thickness to cooperate with the bracket of a motorcycle backrest. The mounting brackets include a pair of bolt-receiving mounting holes for mounting the support bars, one of which has a cut-out area on its underside to receive the head of a mounting plate attachment bolt. The support bar includes a modified U-shape projecting rearwardly and outwardly from a respective support bar.

Abstract: A rotary dump gondola rail car having side walls reinforced by vertical side posts. The side posts include a pair of vertical raised ribs projecting from the exterior face of the side walls for reducing wear between the side posts and a car dumper mechanism.

Abstract: An inspection apparatus for viewing and making video recordings of the interior of an enclosed space of an enclosure having an elongated body. A pair of housings are mounted on the lower end of the elongated body and respectively contain a light source for illuminating an area of the enclosed space and a video camera for creating an image of the illuminated area of the enclosed space. The video camera includes a video magnetic tape media for recording the images illuminated by the light source. A television monitor is mounted on the upper portion of the elongated body for simultaneously viewing the images created by the video camera.

Abstract: A control system for a coffee brewer having a microprocessor in which the water heated in the heater tank must be a predetermined temperature before brewing. A double brewing cycle is prevented. Upon the system not being activated for a period of time, i.e., the water temperature is allowed to drop a greater magnitude for energy saving and component protection.

Abstract: A rail car having dual air hose connections at each end at upper and lower positions. The dual air hose connection provides universal connectability between adjacent cars having a single connection hose having ends at either an upper or lower position.

Abstract: A knee pad unit for protecting the knee of an individual in a kneeling position and having outer plastic shell and a plurality of inflatable pneumatic tubes attached within the shell. The shell has two exterior rails having a front portion formed in a curved configuration to permit rocking. The plurality of inflatable tubes includes a central ring for suspending the knee and rear tubes for suspending the upper leg.

Abstract: A hand operated control valve for venting fluid pressure from a fluid line including a valve body having a vent port being controlled by a needle valve having an elongated shaft. The upper end of the elongated is affixed by a lift rod having a looped configuration to a pivotal lever. Upper and lower springs resiliently apply forces to the lever. Depression of the lever lifts the needle valve to progressively creates a variable flow opening for venting.

Abstract: A filter gauge comprising a piston operable in a pressurized cylinder, the piston having a rod which projects from the cylinder, and grippers mounted within the cylinder and accommodating movement of the piston and rod having indicia indicating the lowest pressure reached in the cylinder as a water conduit to which the cylinder is connected is being drained. The grippers prevent the rod from moving in the opposite or extending direction as the cylinder is being pressured gradually by the water seeping through the filter and equalizing the pressure at both sides thereof.

A six stage filter section selectively removes particulate matter. A biologic stage promotes a sterile reclaimed solution and a solution accumulator accumulates and stores the solution. Repeated injections of oxidizing agents occur before filter stage sections and pumps. The reclaimed solution can be reused or discharged without penalty.
