An insulator block supports the heating element and protects the heating element from damage during use. Vents allow smoke and ash to escape the lighter assembly, and a lens assembly actuated by the engaging arm lights up for easy location.

Abstract: A method and device is able to authenticate a subscriber of a digital mobile radiotelephone system vis-à-vis an authentication entity, wherein the subscriber firstly initializes vis-à-vis the authentication entity by executing several times the authentication algorithm containing stored subscriber-specific components and by storing the corresponding response parameters of the subscriber-specific components in a non-volatile memory. Systematic authentication of the subscriber of the mobile radiotelephone system vis-à-vis the authentication entity via a common interface is made possible by the authentication parameters stored in the memory since the authentication entity can always refer back to the response parameters of the individual subscriber module it already knows.

Abstract: An automatic time setting apparatus for an electronic device which receives transmission radio wave in which time data is inserted, extracts the time data from the received transmission radio wave and performs a time setting operation of a clock section within the electronic device in accordance with the extracted time data. The automatic time setting apparatus includes a measuring section which starts measuring a constant time period in response to first turning-on of a power source, in which a system controller determines whether or not a first time setting operation of the clock section has been performed when the measuring section has measured the constant time period, and executes the time setting operation when it is determined that the first time setting operation has not been performed yet.

Abstract: A locking device and its assemblage are provided for confining an object. The locking device is used to confine the object having an end having a recess having a defining surface to prevent the object from being displaced in a direction. The locking device is a geometrically closed-loop body having a hollow portion, and has a flexibility so that upon being applied with an external force, the object will pass through the hollow portion and the end will thus be confined by the locking device while the force disappears. A simple process can be used to assemble and disassemble the locking assemblage.
