  • Patent number: 7678240
Abstract: Magnetron source has a target configuration with a sputter surface, a magnet configuration generating above the sputter surface a magnetic field which forms, in top view onto the sputter surface, at least one magnet field loop. Viewed in a cross-sectional direction upon the target configuration, a tunnel-shaped arc magnet field is formed and further an electrode configuration is provided which generates, when supplied by a positive electric potential with respect to an electric potential applied to the target configuration, an electric field which crosses at an angle the magnetic field and wherein the electrode configuration comprises a distinct electrode arrangement in a limited segment area of the electrode configuration, which is substantially shorter than the overall length of the magnet field loop.

  • Patent number: 7431536
Abstract: Cellular foil (3) is unfolded between the surface of earth base course (1) and the first floor layer (5) during building the subsoil, which cellular foil (3) is poured over with fill (4) from loose material at least up to filling the compartments. A bedding (2) from loose material, optimally from sand, is created under the cellular foil (3). Geotextile (6) may be incorporated to the area under the cellular foil (3). Bedding (2) of lower grain size than that of the fill (4) is preferably used, wherein the fill (4) has optimal grain size of 8 to 63 mm. Compaction is done by at least eight travels of roller of 10 to 11 tons weight, also including vibrations when the height of fills is exceeding 25 cm above the cellular foil (3).

  • Patent number: 7419836
Abstract: The present invention relates to a device (1) for observing reactions in samples (2), to which a reagent (3) is added, and/or a method which is based on the use of this device. The device includes at least one first optical device (4) for observing samples (2) in the direction of a first optical axis (5) and in a first observation region (6) penetrated by the first optical axis; a first device (7) for receiving receptacles (8) containing samples (2) and for aligning samples in these receptacles in relation to the first optical axis (5); and an injection device (10) for adding liquids (3) to samples (2) and an illumination device (17) for irradiating the samples (2) with excitation light of a first wavelength.

  • Patent number: 6415477
Abstract: In an original pressing plate hinge including a fixing member, an original pressing plate supporting member pivotably installed via a hinge pin to the fixing member, a slider slidably housed in the supporting member, a cam member fixed between the slider and the free end of the supporting member in contact with the slider, and a coil spring provided resiliently between the slider and the free end of the supporting member, the cam member is omitted to prevent an original or document set on the platen glass for copying or printing from being stained with or spoiled by a lubricant when the original touches the cam member to which the lubricant sticks, and instead a pressure receiving pin or roller is used and a cam slider is used in place of the slider. To prevent a heavy original pressing plate from abruptly falling, a damping member is housed in the coil spring and disposed between the cam slider and the top plate or free end of the supporting member.

  • Patent number: 6310344
Abstract: Disclosed is a wire-type corona charger having a wire electrode disposed between ground electrode plates. The wire electrode is supported by the ends of the plurality of wire electrode supporters which are so arranged that their ends have a curvature equal to arcuately-shaped upper edge of the ground electrode plates. The curvature coincides with one of the curvatures of the horizontal axis and the vertical axis of the interior surface of the panel faceplate, while the charger is pivoted along the other curvature of the faceplate. The charger can uniformly charge the photoconductive layer and improves the charging efficiency.

  • Patent number: 5972865
Abstract: A purge concentrate for purging paint spraying and other coating equipment has about 20%-60% by weight water; about 10%-40% by weight of an active solvent; about 10%-50% by weight of a co-solvent; about 1-9% by weight of a penetrant; and about 0.2-2.0% by weight wetting agent. It need not be heated to the curing temperature of heat curing paints and thus purges these paints more effectively.
