Abstract: An unlock system does not use a key that might be copied so that only a correct person can unlock a door and security is enhanced. Unlock records of door-lock are stored in a limited memory capacity in volume. Fingerprint data input to a fingerprint input section 21 disposed outside a door 11 provided on a doorway 10 is detected, and the detected fingerprint data is verified against previously registered fingerprint data. If it was confirmed that the detected fingerprint data coincided with the registered fingerprint data, an unlock signal is output to unlock the door-lock. At the same time, an identification code of the registered fingerprint data that unlocked is stored.
Abstract: A connector includes a plug connector and a mating connector. The plug connector includes a housing with an open front end, an insulated inner conductor disposed within the housing, a clamping sleeve, and an axially movable sliding sleeve disposed radially outside the clamping sleeve. The sliding sleeve can be positioned in a working position where it surrounds the clamping sleeve and exerts a radially inward-directed force. The mating connector, which is receivable within the housing, includes a clamping surface. A force Fr introduced radially from the sliding sleeve toward the clamping sleeve when the sliding sleeve is in the working position, is redirected by the clamping sleeve into an axial force component Fa which is introduced from the clamping sleeve toward the clamping surface.
Abstract: Novel compositions of matter comprising a foamable delivery system are provided. Novel methods for treating a disease, disorder, or condition using the novel compositions are further provided. Novel methods for making and delivering a foamable pharmaceutical composition are also provided. While the novel compositions and foamable drug delivery system may be utilized for administration of a wide variety of drugs to epithelial tissues, to treat a wide variety of diseases, disorders, or conditions, the inventive compositions and foamable drug delivery systems are particularly useful for the dermatological administration of corticosteroids and antifungal agents.
Abstract: A data processing method and system for retrieving a subset of k items from a database of n items (n?k) firstly determines a limited set of bk items (b>1) in the database which have the greatest similarity to an input query t according to a given similarity function S. A result subset is then constructed by including as a first member the item having the greatest similarity S to the query t, and iteratively selecting each successive member of the subset as that remaining item of the bk items having the highest quality Q, where Q is a given function of both similarity to the input query t and relative diversity RD with respect to the items already in the results subset. In this way the diversity of the results subset is greatly increased relative to a simple selection of the k most similar items to the query t, with only a modest additional increase in processing requirements.
Abstract: The protection device (6) for a plug-in connection comprises a coupling part (1) and a housing (2) for a plug (3) arranged therein: The coupling part (1) has an opening (1b) for the plug (3). The opening (1b) is surrounded by a protruding collar, which surrounds the opening particularly by 360°. The collar (1a) has a hollow recess (1d) forming a peripheral groove (1e) on the collar (1a). The plug housing (2) is provided with a snap-in part (2f) which is adapted in relation to the groove (1e) in order to connect the housing (2) to the coupling part (19) with the aid of the snap-in part (2f) which is engaged in the groove (1e).
Abstract: In order to advantageously weld a pre-mounted connector-plug part (1) to an optical waveguide cable, the connector-plug part is provided with a pin holder (4) receiving a connector-plug pin (2) on a pin receiving section (5). Preferably, two cladding parts (8, 8?) form a cable receiving section (6) in said pin holder. In order to carry out welding in a simple manner on the bare end (22) of the end of a fiber, the cladding parts (8, 8?) can be pivoted around a hinge (9, 9?) between an open position and a closed position. A dividable protective sheath (25, 25?) is provided inside the cable receiving section or inside the cladding parts and can enclose the weld. When mounted, the protective sheath can be de-coupled from the cladding parts (8, 8?).
Abstract: The present invention relates to the field of pharmaceutical technology and describes a novel advantageous preparation for an active ingredient. The novel preparation is suitable for producing a large number of pharmaceutical dosage forms. In the new preparation an active ingredient is present essentially uniformly dispersed in an excipient matrix composed of one or more excipients selected from the group of fatty alcohol, triglyceride, partial glyceride and fatty acid ester.

Abstract: Novel surfactant protein C esters suitable for preparing pharmaceutical compositions for the treatment of infant respiratory distress syndrome and adult respiratory distress syndrome are described.
Abstract: An apparatus for protecting a vacuum system of semiconductor equipment is disclosed. The apparatus comprises a process tool and a gas-exploding unit. The process tool includes a gas reaction chamber, and the process tool is connected with a first gas piping to exhaust a waste gas in the gas reaction chamber. The gas-exploding unit includes a gas-exploding chamber, a gas valve, a pressure sensor, and a gas-exploding device for sealing an opening in a wall of the gas-exploding chamber. The gas-exploding chamber is connected with the first gas piping to receive the waste gas. The waste gas in the gas-exploding chamber is transported to a local scrubber through a second gas piping, and then exhausted to a central scrubber. The pressure sensor is used to detect a pressure in the gas-exploding chamber.
Abstract: A special-code encoding circuit generates a first special code to be added to a video signal and a second special code to replace a synchronous signal. A multiplex circuit multiplexes the video signal and first and second special codes. An encoding circuit for code conversion performs 8B/10B encoding. A parallel/serial conversion circuit converts parallel data to serial data (bit stream signal). A light emission circuit and a light emission device transmit the bit stream signal as a light signal.
Abstract: A device for locating and obtaining access to subterranean rodent burrows as an aid to the field of pest extermination. The device allows the user to probe the ground with one end of the tool in order to locate the burrow and determine depth and direction of said burrow. Once this is accomplished, the other end of the tool is used to remove soil that is obstructing access to the rodent burrow, leaving the burrow exposed and intact, allowing for the easy application of traps or rodenticides.
Abstract: A method and system for parsing e-mail, and said system comprises a database and a server. The server is used to receive a e-mail, then parse and extract the content of the received e-mail, and lastly store the data extracted from the e-mail into the database. The server further includes a parsing unit, a notifying unit and a setting unit. The parsing unit is used to parse the e-mail, and extract the data according to preset key words. The notifying unit is used to inform the original sender, who sent the e-mail, and the notifying unit will generate a notification when the parsing unit extracts the specified data. The setting unit is used to modify the key word setting used in the parsing unit.
