Abstract: Sigma binding site agents having the formula ##STR1## which are useful to inhibit sigma binding site-induced activity, pharmaceutical compositions including these agents, and methods of using these agents to inhibit sigma binding site-induced activity in mammals. Also disclosed are novel intermediates useful in preparing the presently invented agents.

Abstract: A portable apparatus for the non-invasive, simultaneous, self-testing of fetal and maternal signals which comprises: a user display means to indicate that the device is operational; an ultrasonic means connected to the device for detecting fetal heart rate; a detection means connected to the device for detecting maternal input signals; signal processing means including a logarithmic amplification means for simultaneously processing fetal heart rate and maternal input signals; and a communication linking mean for the simultaneous transmission of fetal heart rate and maternal input data to a remote output device.
Abstract: Systems and their methods of preparation and use that release an active agent in a controlled manner for an extended period in a vaginal cavity environment. When an antifungal agent such as an imidazole, is incorporated into the system it has been found that the conventional treatment time is reduced by at least 25%.
Abstract: A portable apparatus for the non-invasive, simultaneous, self-testing of fetal and maternal signals which comprises: a user display means to indicate that the device is operational, an ultrasonic means to detect fetal heart rate connected to said device, a detection means for maternal input signal connected to said device, wherein the device has signal processing means for simultaneously processing fetal heart rate and maternal input signals, and also has a communication linking means for the simultaneous transmission of fetal heart rate and maternal input data to a remote output device.
