Abstract: A tail tag assembly for attachment to the tail switch of an animal including an engaging member having a slotted head which gathers animal hair as it is urged into an elongated member having a narrow passage therein. A retention shoulder is contained in the elongated member so that when the engaging member is urged into the elongated member it is retained. A pest-control strip is positioned between a flange on the engaging member and the adjacent portion of the elongated member so as to contact the animal body as the tail moves.

Abstract: Adjustable mounting means for providing variable spacing between the stringplate and the adjacently spaced soundboard of a grand piano wherein a number of elongate threaded cylinders are located in the peripheral frame is disclosed. Each threaded member has an upwardly extending end for receiving the apertured string plate thereon and contains a central threaded bore for receiving a bolt. The stringplate rests on the threaded members with the appropriate spacing between soundboard and stringplate being attained by adjustment of the threaded members from the underside of the piano.

Abstract: An electrical circuit for controlling the power consumption of high intensity motorcycle lamps which reduces the voltage across the lamps during long periods of operation and enables the lamps to alternate operation between full and reduced intensity. A mode selector switch is coupled to a relay switch for each lamp so as to vary the voltage thereacross as well as to a power control switch for full intensity operation.

Abstract: A method of preparing porous abrasive rock for use in distressing fabric, including the steps of impregnating rocks placed in a vacuum vessel with a bleaching solution under reduced pressure, maintaining the reduced pressure for a first interval while injecting the solution beneath the rocks and then increasing the vessel pressure above ambient for a second interval prior to removal.

Abstract: A method of making animal litter and the product produced thereby which utilizes ground peanut hulls, peanut shells and finely ground natural mineral in a dry mixture. The mixture is subjected to a preconditioning step which heats the mixture by steam injection prior to extrusion into pellets followed by air drying. The vegetable oil content of the peanut shells provides a binder for the pellet. The mineral constituent provides ionic bonding for the nitrogen ions in liquid animal waste to reduce the odor of animal litter exposed thereto.

Abstract: A method and apparatus for forming a wall irregularity following countertop are disclosed wherein a countertop as originally manufactured is disposed on the counter base and against the adjoining wall, is then parallelly shifted away from the adjoining wall by a predetermined amount and a router with a spacer following the wall irregularities is moved along the countertop edge with the cutting edge of the counter cutting tool moving along the countertop edge while the spacer follows along the wall.The spacer includes a wall following ring element supported by ball bearings on a disk member attached to the bottom of the router. The disk member has a central opening for receiving the router cutting tool.

Abstract: A method of producing fortified honey by selecting pollen types, drying pollen at low temperatures, milling and mixing same to form a water-pollen solution. Then, this solution is blended with low viscosity honey to form a concentrated solution for later addition to processed honey.
