Patent number: 4972646Abstract: A concrete forming system is provided which incorporates a pair of wall panels arranged in a predetermined upright spaced relation and a skeletal grid assembly disposed between the wall panels and retaining same in predetermined upright spaced relation while concrete is being poured between the wall panels. The grid assembly is provided with a plurality of first rods arranged in spaced relation and spanning the distance between the wall panels. The ends of each first rod are disposed within preformed holes formed in the wall panels. Each rod end has a portion thereof disposed adjacent an exterior surface of a wall panel. A plurality of second rods are disposed between the wall panels and engage interior surfaces of the wall panels. The second rods interconnect with the first rods.Type: GrantFiled: September 20, 1988Date of Patent: November 27, 1990Assignee: Foam Form Systems, Inc.Inventors: Brian J. Miller, David W. Turner

Patent number: 4738776Abstract: A lubricant filter assembly for an internal combustion engine is provided which includes a head member removably mounted on a base member. The head member includes a sleeve-like housing open at one end only and having first and second filter units fixedly mounted therein. The outer peripheries of the filter units coact with the interior surface of the housing to form a common inlet passage. One of the filter units is provided with an interior first outlet passage which communicates with a first passage formation formed in the base member. The first passage formation communicates with a first lubricating circuit of the engine. The second filter unit is provided with an interior second outlet passage which communicates with a second passage formation formed in the base member. The second passage formation communicates with a second lubricating circuit of the engine. Seal sections are carried by the head member.Type: GrantFiled: May 23, 1986Date of Patent: April 19, 1988Assignee: Cummins Engine Company, Inc.Inventor: Gene W. Brown

Patent number: 4500072Abstract: A mechanical jack construction is provided comprising a load-bearing rack which is adapted to be moved in the vertical plane by an engaging pinion. The pinion is connected to a lever-driven ratchet wheel by means of shear pins. Application of an excessive load to the load-bearing rack will result in fracture of the shear pins, disengagement of the pinion from the ratchet wheel and substantially instantaneous lowering of the rack. Such construction lends itself to use in track repair and similar applications in which immediate jack retraction is desired upon engagement of excessive loads.Type: GrantFiled: September 30, 1982Date of Patent: February 19, 1985Assignee: Templeton Kenly & CompanyInventor: David S. Patent number: 4048711Abstract: A termination tool is disclosed of the type having a plurality of rams for simultaneously forcing wires laterally into terminals on opposite sides of a connector. The connector is mounted in the tool, in a holder assembly having side members which are laterally translatable in response to control apparatus to permit the connector to be inserted and removed from the holder assembly. The aforementioned wire or wires are properly positioned with respect to the ram end portions and the connector terminals by means of guides included in the side members. The rams are mounted on pivoted arms and are variably extendable therefrom to compensate for differences in thickness or width of various connectors.Type: GrantFiled: February 13, 1975Date of Patent: September 20, 1977Assignee: TRW Inc.Inventor: Freidrich A.
