Abstract: A modular device for use in emergency or everyday applications and having a plurality of modular components that are interchangeable with one another depending on the particular desired use. The modular device generally includes a plurality of interchangeable load modules, wherein each of the load modules has a load connected thereto, wherein the load is different for each load modules, and at least one power module having at least one battery therein, wherein the power module removably separately connects to each of the load modules and wherein the battery(ies) electrically connects to the load for powering the load. The load modules and power modules may be connected in various manners, such as a push-fit, friction, threadably, slidably, or various other manners to allow quick, easy, and reliable connectivity. The load of the load modules may be comprised of lights, external connectors, radios, MP3 players, or various other electrical devices.

Abstract: A gunstock system having an internal magazine for storage of ammunition cartridges and for providing ambidextrous delivery of the ammunition cartridges. The gunstock has a vertically-oriented internal magazine having an upper opening and a lower reload/discharge opening, an operable cover for closing the upper opening, a biasing element, such as a spring, extending from the cover within the internal magazine to apply downward pressure upon the ammunition cartridges, and biased-retaining arms for operatively opening and closing the reload/discharge opening to permit and restrict removal of the ammunition cartridges from the internal magazine. The ammunition cartridges exit the reload/discharge opening in a forward manner and along the bottom of the gunstock. The gunstock has a bore extending therethrough from a rearward to a forward end of the gunstock for receiving a bolt to secure the gunstock to the receiver or adjacent portion of the firearm.
Abstract: A constructable microwave susceptor sheet for holding and cooking a food item in a microwave. The constructable microwave susceptor sheet generally includes an outer panel having a first susceptor layer and a first support layer attached to the first susceptor layer and an inner panel foldably connected to the outer panel for lining an interior surface of the outer panel, wherein the inner panel includes a second susceptor layer and a second support layer attached to the second susceptor layer. The outer panel has a raised platform and a plurality of legs foldably connected to the platform. The outer panel also includes a plurality of retainer flaps vertically extending upward from a perimeter of the platform for retaining a food item thereon. The inner panel seals a plurality of openings extending through the platform which are exposed by the flaps pivoting to a vertical position.
Abstract: A water recycling and firefighting training system for efficiently practicing connecting water hoses between a water storage tank including a fire hydrant and a fire engine. The water recycling and firefighting training system generally includes a frame having wheels, a storage tank mounted to the frame, a fire hydrant mounted proximate the frame, wherein the fire hydrant is fluidly connected to the storage tank, a pump fluidly connected to the storage tank to pump water to the fire hydrant, and at least one intake fluidly connected to the storage tank for inputting water back within the storage tank. The water from the storage tank is circulated between the mobile trailer and a fire engine through a plurality of hoses in a closed-loop configuration.
Abstract: An illuminator device for efficiently increasing a projected light intensity. The illuminator device includes a hood for retaining a light source, a first reflector proximally supported by the hood, a second reflector spaced apart from the first reflector and distally supported by the hood, the second reflector aligned with the first reflector, and a third reflector laterally projecting from the hood, the third reflector aligned with the second reflector. The second reflector is adapted to reflect light rays from the light source back to the first reflector, wherein the light rays travel back and forth from the second to the first reflector at least once before being reflected to the third reflector to be directed away from the luminaire. A transparent cover may be supported between the first and second reflectors for containing reflected light rays. A hanging bracket may also be used for hanging the luminaire.
Abstract: A boom mooring system for anchoring containment booms over extended periods and in varying sea conditions. The system generally includes a buoy having a frame, a buoyancy member mounted thereto, connecting plates located on first and second ends of the frame for connecting containment booms, and an anchor secured to the frame for mooring the buoy. The frame evenly distributes stresses caused from securely anchoring the containment boom in a dynamic sea environment. The anchor may be secured to the frame in various manners, such as via a pipe movably extending through the frame or an elongated member, such as a rope, cable, etc. secured to the frame or pin of the frame. Various signaling devices may extend from the buoy, such as lights, flags, etc. to designate presence of the buoys and containment boom and/or to designate openings in the containment boom to allow passage of spill response vessels.
Abstract: A spine immobilizer with removable straps for efficiently providing removable straps upon a spine immobilizer for cleaning, maintenance, replacement, or inspection purposes. The spine immobilizer generally includes an immobilizer panel comprised of a semi-rigid structure, wherein the immobilizer panel has a central support, first wings laterally extending from a first end of the central support, and second wings laterally extending from a second end of the central support, a plurality of connectors extending from a back side of the immobilization panel along the first wings and the second wings, and a plurality of strap assemblies removably connected to the plurality of connectors. The plurality of strap assemblies are adapted to removably connect to a correlating strap assembly via a buckle-connector structure and join the first wings and join the second wings of the immobilization panel about a patient.
Abstract: A wireless signal transceiver system for allowing wireless distribution of cable/satellite television and internet signals to a plurality of transceivers. The wireless signal transceiver system generally includes a primary unit and one or more secondary units. The primary unit of the present invention will generally be connected to a cable and/or satellite source via a wired connection. The primary unit will generally manipulate, filter and transfer television and/or internet signals to the one or more secondary units. Each secondary unit may be connected to a display device such as a television or a secondary device such as a personal computer or VOIP phone. Utilizing a primary transceiver on the primary unit and secondary transceivers on each secondary unit, a single primary unit may fulfill the functionality of a cable modem, wireless router and wireless television distributor without the need for multiple electronic devices or wires.
Abstract: A rug cleaning system for efficiently cleaning a rug without the need for bending over to reach the rug or being subjected to loose dust and debris. The rug cleaning system generally includes a housing having an entrance opening and an exit opening, with a passageway connecting the openings. A first roller is positioned on one side of the passageway at its upper portion with a second roller is positioned on the other side opposite the first roller. A cleaning brush is positioned beneath the second roller. As a rug is inserted into the entrance opening, it is sandwiched between the rollers and forced down through the passageway past the cleaning brush. The cleaning brush removes any debris from the rug and transfers the debris to a debris storage member through use of transfer members and a vacuum. The cleaned rug then exits the exit opening.
Abstract: A hydraulic hose coupler for enabling an operator to easily connect and disconnect a hydraulic hose from a spool valve. The hydraulic hose coupler generally includes a tube member having a first portion, a joint and a second portion, wherein the first portion and second portion extend away from the joint at an approximate 135 degree angle with respect to each other. The first portion of the tube member will generally include a threaded first end for removably connecting to a hydraulic connector. The second portion of the tube member will generally include a threaded second end for removably connecting to a hydraulic hose. An ergonomic handle will preferably extend around the second portion of the tube member. After connecting the coupler between the hydraulic connector and hose, the operator may grip the handle and easily connect and disconnect the hose from a spool valve.
Abstract: A traction splint device for providing aid to a person suffering from a broken or fractured lower extremity. The device generally includes a collapsible shaft adapted to be positioned alongside a leg of a patient, a first support connected to a first end of the shaft, and a second support connected to a second end of the shaft. The first support is adapted to be positioned forwardly of a lower end of the leg and includes a center brace having a notch. A plurality of stabilizing straps traverse the shaft and are adapted to constrain the leg. At least one of the straps is adapted to wrap around the notch of the center brace to secure a lower end of the leg and at least one of the straps is adapted to extend through an opening of the second support to secure an upper end of the leg.
Abstract: A chair that includes a support module, a seat carrier, an initially forwardly declined seat member articulated to the seat carrier such as by being pivotal along a front, and an initially rearwardly angled backrest carrier having a backrest member, the carrier articulated to the seat carrier such as by being pivotal along a lower end. The angular positions of the seat and backrest member are largely controlled via an actuator arm and adjustable spring arrangement, wherein the actuator arm directly links the seat member to the backrest carrier and the spring arrangement returns the backrest carrier and seat member to initial positions when a weighted load is lessened or removed from the rear of the seat member. A pneumatic cylinder to provide resistance to the seat member, a limiter to limit a maximum and minimum angular position of the seat member, adjustable arm rests, and casters may be included.
Abstract: The light fixture includes a ceiling mounted, hollow support body generally comprised of pre-existing fluorescent lighting troffer, a base plate hingedbly mounted to the support body preferably via a hook/slot assembly and comprised of a heat dissipating aluminum material, a power supply unit mounted along a top of the base plate, a plurality of lighting units, each being electrically connected to the power supply unit, and each being mounted to the base plate, the plurality of lighting units each including at least one light emitting element. The lighting units are comprised of a plurality of individual strips dispersed along the bottom of the base plate for optimal heat dispersion. The base plate may have flat or angled mounting surfaces for the lighting units depending on a direction of emitted light and heat dissipation. A diffuser panel may be spaced below the lighting units and hingedbly mounted to the support body.

Abstract: A swing auger drive attachment system for remotely moving a swing auger in a circular arc. The auxiliary drive attachment generally includes one or more mounting brackets each having a plurality of openings, the openings adapted to align with preexisting wheel mounting holes of a swing hopper to vertically adjustably attach the mounting bracket. The mounting bracket also being horizontally angularly offset so an attached wheel is aligned with a curved directional path of the swing hopper. Connected to the mounting bracket is a drive motor having a drive shaft and a wheel connected, the wheel having a coupler assembly to rotationally connect and disconnect the wheel from the drive shaft to provide motor-driven power to the wheel or allow free-rotation of the wheel. A control unit in communication with the drive motor may be connected to a remote controller or an onboard manual controller.

Abstract: A dust control system for efficiently collecting dust laden air within and around a mining area. The dust control system generally includes a support structure, a duct assembly supported by the support structure, wherein the duct assembly includes an inlet for receiving dust laden air, an outlet for discharging a dust slurry, and a passageway connecting the inlet with the outlet and an injection pipe assembly directed within the passageway for injecting a mixture of a compressed air and a liquid within the passageway to mix with the dust laden air. The outlet of the injection pipe assembly is positioned forward the inlet of the duct assembly relative travel of the dust laden air through the passageway for generating a suction to force the dust laden air within the inlet.
Abstract: An environmentally safe rodent control composition for exterminating rodents such as mice and rats without the use of chemicals. The rodent control composition generally includes an attractant base, a digestive upset catalyst such as oleander leaves, a coma catalyst such as lily flowers, a paralysis catalyst such as water hemlock roots and a cardiac arrest catalyst such as lily of valley berries. The attractant base is generally comprised of materials which attract a rodent to the present invention and encourage a rodent to ingest the same. The attractant base may be comprised of such materials as peanut butter, mixed bird seed, mixed grains and the like. A rodent will generally die within 12-36 hours after ingestion of the present composition, which does not include any chemicals or additives which are damaging to the environment.

The biomass harvester compressor system generally includes a harvester for harvesting a biomass crop and a compressor following behind the harvester for being fed the harvested biomass crop. The compressor includes at least one compacting device for compacting the biomass, at least one freezing assembly for freezing the biomass and at least one cutting mechanism for cutting the biomass after the freezing.
