Abstract: Triazines having general formula: ##STR1## wherein: X can independently be hydrogen, chlorine, fluorine, C.sub.1 -C.sub.3 alkyl or perfluoro alkyl, n is comprised between 2 and 20.

Abstract: In a carbon thread, vapor phase growth carbon fiber (VGCF) are dispersedly contained in a carbon matrix. The carbon thread is produced by forming a thread-like element from a mixture of VGCF and carbonizable carbon-containing compound and then by heat-treating the thread-like element to effect carbonization thereon. The thread-like element may be formed either by melt-spinning or solution-spinning the mixture, or by impregnably adhering the mixture onto a thread of heat resisting fibers. The carbonized carbon thread thus obtained may be subjected to further heat treatment to graphitize the carbon thread.

Abstract: An improved support garment for therapeutic compression of a swollen limb. An elastic sock includes a lengthwise slit intermediate the top and bottom, an inelastic pouch bridging the slit for slidably receiving a flat compliant plastic insert, and a slide fastener for opening and closing the slit. Sufficient slack in the pouch allows the fastener to close with the insert in place.

Abstract: Pharmaceutical compositions for inhibiting the aggregation of erthyrocytes or thrombocytes which include phenylamides which conform to the formula: ##STR1## with R.sub.1-6, X, A and B being as defined. Processes for the preparation of novel phenylamides coming within the above formula are also discussed.
