  • Patent number: 6443708
Abstract: An electromagnetic control valve of a fast response compression volume control apparatus for a refrigeration cycle is provided which connects and blocks a pressure adjusting chamber of the compressor to and from a discharge chamber or a suction chamber such that the a differential pressure between at least one of a pressure in the pressure adjusting chamber and a pressure in the suction chamber and a pressure in the discharge chamber is maintained at a predetermined differential pressure value. The differential pressure is changed by changing the electromagnetic force of the electromagnetic control valve such that the discharge volume of the refrigerant is controlled and the compression volume becomes a predetermined one in a prompt action without a time delay when the electromagnetic force is varied.

  • Patent number: 6408490
Abstract: A quick fastening device for fastening an end of a band to a case of a watch includes a band linking element attached to the band and a case linking element attached to the case. The band and the case linking elements mutually interlock with each other and at least one of the band or the case linking elements is movably mounted on the band or the case to which it is interlocked between at least one open position and one closed position. The band and the case linking elements are positioned respectively free for interlocking with respect to each other and fastened by interlocking with respect to each other.

  • Patent number: 5278687
Abstract: An optical multi-channel data communication link transmits data from a transmitter to a remote receiver. The link includes a multimode laser diode source connected to the transmitter, a device for modulating the source with each channel of data to generate a modulated light wave, and a wavelength division multiplexing device at the transmitter. The wavelength division multiplexing device has paraxial optics for multiplexing the light waves to produce a multiplexed signal. Multimode fiber optic means are connected to the multiplexer and pass the multiplexed signal to the remote receiver. A wavelength division multiplexer has paraxial optics for demultiplexing the multiplexed signals at the receiver to produce demultiplexed light waves. Each of the demultiplexed light waves are converted for use by the receiver.
