The panel support unit has a plurality of holes for providing flexibility for the unit and a plurality of inner threaded support columns. The system also includes a bolt for adjusting the height of the corner of the panel.
Abstract: A deflection yoke assembly with an annular magnetic core to energize a magnetic deflection field within a CRT and an annular array of pole pieces to define the length and shape of the magnetic deflection field mounted within and concentric with the annular core.
Abstract: A high power laser diode driver utilizing a monolithic semiconductor device capable of eliminating the stray resistance and the stray capacitance at interconnections between an energy storage medium and an optically activated semiconductor switch, thereby generating high power laser output pulses with ultra-narrow pulsewidth, fast rise time and fast fall time at high PRF and significantly extending the capability of the diode driver.
Abstract: A high power, pulsed laser driver including a low impedance energy storage capacitor having a non-uniform stripline structure or a uniform stripline structure, thereby capable of greatly reducing the loss of electrical energy of the laser array while maintaining high efficiency, light weight and compactness.
Abstract: A method and apparatus for surgical correction of malformations of digits of a foot. Part of the joint is removed to expose bone ends. The bone ends are spaced apart from each other at a distance greater than would be suitable for knitting of said bone ends to each other with bone tissue. Holes are bored in each of the bone ends. An implant, including shafts and a central spacer, is inserted into each of the holes in the bones. This implant consists entirely of absorbable material. The implant is left permanently in place to be completely absorbed as it is replaced by fibrous scar tissue. This tissue forms an effective joint replacement.
Abstract: Tamper indicating, child proof system includes annular tear strip on the cap; and a rotatably indexing latch finger on the cap which engages a raised annular retainer ridge with bypass opening on the neck of the container. A tactile indicator of the rotational location of the bypass opening is under the tear strip for sensing by a finger that is in simultaneous contact with the cap, when the tear strip is removed. A lower ridge includes an index key for orienting the latch finger away from the bypass opening during assembly of the system.
Abstract: A high power, high PRF, pulsed laser diode driver including an optically activated three terminal semiconductor switch, capable of generating high peak power light pulses with an ultra-narrow pulsewidth at a high PRF.
Abstract: A high power, pulsed laser diode driver maintaining high efficiency, light weight and compactness by a provision of an energy storage capacitor of a non-uniform stripline structure with a low impedance.
Abstract: A stringed musical instrument system having a body and a reversible neck. The neck is provided with a mounting assembly for selectively alternating the coupling of the neck to the body such that either of the broad surfaces of the body may be utilized as the front surface or back surface of the instrument. The mounting assembly includes a tongue and groove connection between the neck and body. In addition, electrical coupling between the neck and body is provided.
Abstract: A Dynamic Color Separation (DCS) color display system employs signals which provide timing, luminance, and chrominance information of the display output. The display system includes a timing circuit which produces unique signals for correcting errors produced when hue is controlled by the phase of the (S) signal and the degree of saturation with its amplitude. The signals may be applied to know CRT beam guns, and modified guns specific to the generated signals are also disclosed.
Abstract: A numeric display has a background and seven panels positioned to form a stylized FIG. 8. The seven panels include four vertical panels, each revoluably mounted about a horizontal axle, and three horizontal panels each revoluably mounted about a vertical axis. The axis of each of said seven bars pass substantially through the geometric center the panel. The panels each have a front face and a back face. The front face of the panels contrasts optically with the background. The rear face optically melds with the background.
Abstract: A self-contained automatic gate system is disclosed wherein all system components are built into the gate system itself thereby allowing the user to simply provide a footing for mounting the system and then mounting it with no need for further assembly.
Abstract: A system for converting disposable plastic or paper dinner plates into throwable flying discs. The system includes an annular foam ring. A groove is disposed on an inside surface of the annular ring. The groove receives an outer edge of the disposable plate, thereby removably securing the foam to the disposable plate. The groove has a depth which extends the groove's outer circumference to a circumference similar to an outer circumference of a standard sized, commercially available, disposable plate.
Abstract: An ornamental closure which opens to a scene and includes animated scenes moved into view from within the closure. Mechanisms and electrical circuitry provide the power to operate the closure and to provide music during operation. A plurality of such closures are programmed to operate sequentially and may include hangers to secure them to the branches of a Christmas tree.
Abstract: A cartridge containing a stack of samplers, dispensed one by one through an end slot in the cartridge and a display case to contain a plurality of such cartridges together with identifying indicia and actual product and a unitized structure constituting a display case formed with a plurality of integral chambers each structured to function in the manner of said cartridge.
Abstract: An improved method of recovering recyclable materials from commingled recyclables is described as well as apparatuses for doing same. Ferrous materials recovery is achieved using the unique combination of a magnetic belt and a vibratory conveyor. Other materials are then separated with a light/heavy separator which uses finger screen, air knife, and vibratory means to separate glass from plastics and aluminum prior to conventional handsorting operations. Excess glass unsuitable for recovery is introduced into a trommel processing loop wherein contaminates are removed and the glass reduced to a particulate useful in the production of glasphalt and aggregate. Air emanating from the air knife is filtered in an improved gravity separator for reintroduction to the light/heavy separator.
