  • Patent number: 4887338
Abstract: An improvement to hook and loop fastening systems of the type comprising one portion composed of backing material having a hooked surface thereon and another portion composed of backing material having a looped surface thereon. The improvement allows for releasably fastening two components together with the hook and loop materials in shear and is characterized by a planar member having one of the components attached to the end thereof and having outer faces each having one of the portions of the fastening system thereon; and, a U-shaped shear trap channel member having the other of the components attached to the closed end of the U and having inner faces on the sides of the U each having the other of the portions of the fastening system thereon.

  • Patent number: 4870356
Abstract: A universal test fixture for electrically connecting a plurality of component pins to compute test logic without the need for specialized sockets is described. The test fixture comprises a planar dielectric substrate having a multi-conductor pattern on the top surface comprising a plurality of equal width, spaced conductor bars, and including electrical conductors for connecting the spaced conductor bars to test logic. Also provided is a resiliently deformable member or material for compensating for varying planarity between the tips of the component pins to be tested.

  • Patent number: 4846696
Abstract: A microwave coupler device for connecting a first stripline conductor on one level to a second stripline conductor on another parallel level is described. The device includes a resiliently deformable electrically conductive member (preferably a metal-filled elastomer) for electrically contacting first and second stripline conductors within the device. There is provision for applying a longitudinal compressive force on the first and second stripline conductors compressing the resiliently deformable electrically conductive member between them. In certain embodiments the interconnected striplines can be rotated with respect to one another.

  • Patent number: 4841263
Abstract: The biquad block or cell comprises two operational amplifiers OA1, OA2, eight capacitors C1-C8 and switches comprises switches of reference o and switches of reference e controlled by a clock signal H. The biquad block has six connections P1-P6 and can be used as low-pass, band-pass or high-pass filters, as a function of the connections chosen for the input and output of the signal to be filtered. Switches 46 to 52 make it possible to select one from among several configurations for each filtering function. The different configurations are distinguished by their sensitivities to the gain of the operational amplifiers and to the capacitance ratio. Application to the filtering of signals in the video range (a few megahertz).
