The system for saving digital content classified by person-based clustering, includes a database to save a plurality of digital content classified by person-based clustering; a data structure generation unit to generate a data structure composed of a plurality of nodes using the plurality of digital content; a face recognition unit to extract a face descriptor of new digital content to be saved in the database; a cluster classification unit to classify the new digital content and the plurality of digital content by the person-based clustering using the extracted face descriptor, and a data structure update unit to update the data structure according to the classification.

Abstract: A gaze-based three-dimensional (3D) interaction system and method, as well as a 3D gaze tracking system and method, are disclosed. The gaze direction is determined by using the image of one eye of the operator who gazes at a 3D image, while the gaze depth is determined by the distance between pupil centers from both eyes of the operator shown in an image of both eyes of the operator.

Abstract: Provided are a data transmitting and receiving method for a multiple-input multiple-output (MIMO) communication system, and a transmitter and a receiver using the method. Accordingly, since precoding matrices of a codebook is constituted using a rotation matrix, expansion of the codebook is easy, and since each of the precoding matrices is determined according to the number of transmit antennas, the codebook is systematically created according to a system. In addition the codebook can be applied to even a correlated channel, and the minimum distance between precoding matrices can advantageously be maximized.

Abstract: A recording medium for storing defect management information to record real time data, a defect managing method therefor, and a method of recording real time data. The recording medium stores information representing use or non-use of linear replacement defect management in which a defective area on the recording medium is replaced with the spare area, in order to record real time data. While maintaining compatibility between the defect managing method and a defect managing method based on a current DVD-RAM standard, i.e., while allowing a report of the fact that there are blocks which have not been linearly replaced, linear replacement is not performed when real time data is recorded. Thus, real time data can be recorded and reproduced.
