  • Patent number: 7808724
Abstract: A lens system with a first group having a positive meniscus lens and a sensor. The optical distance between the front surface of the first group and the sensor can be not greater than the height of the sensor times the image F-number, which may alternatively be referred to as the working F-number. A second group can be disposed adjacent to the front focal point of the first group, and a lens-stop can be disposed adjacent to the second group. A third group can be disposed midway between the lens-stop and the object field of the first and second groups. The image F-number can be 2.8 or greater. The first group can have a doublet formed by a first lens that is plano convex and a second lens that is plano concave. The second group can have a first, plano convex lens and a second, biconvex lens forming a doublet with a third, plano concave lens.

  • Patent number: 7775589
Abstract: An upholstery mounting system for an article of furniture with a furniture member, such as a chair back, and an upholstery backing member for being removably coupled to the furniture member. A plurality of mounting clips are fixed to one of the upholstery backing member and the furniture member, and a corresponding a plurality of mounting brackets are fixed to the other of the furniture member and the upholstery backing member. The mounting clips can have raised central portions that define apertures, and the mourning clips have elongate engaging members for being matingly received through the apertures in the mounting brackets for coupling the furniture member and the upholstery backing member. One mounting clip can have a longer elongate engaging member to facilitate alignment during coupling. • Patent number: 7621489
Abstract: An extension and retraction arrangement for retaining a supported article, such as a monitor, in relation to a trolley structure that is retained for axial extension and retraction in relation to an elongate support arrangement. A support arm, which can be unitary, articulated, pivoting, or non-pivoting, can be coupled to the trolley structure. The trolley structure can have a centrally disposed alcove disposed inboard of first and second rail members of the elongate support arrangement. A subsurface enclosure can retain the rail members, and first and second doors can selectively close an aperture in a framework coupled adjacent to an end of the subsurface enclosure. Constant force springs can assist travel of the trolley structure and an arcuate braking member or compressing spring can provide a braking effect to the trolley structure.
