Abstract: A plate making and printing press apparatus having a press arrangement including a plate making unit, a printing unit and a sorting unit, a memory for storing printing sheet numbers inputted from a printing sheet number inputting unit, and a control circuit for receiving necessary information from a manuscript presence/absence detecting unit and a continuous mode commanding unit and supplying the information to the units of the press arrangement as necessary.

Abstract: A method for manufacturing a concrete structure such as columns and beams with sufficient reinforcement in the shear strength to be durable against earthquakes, etc. A reinforcing member composed of a fiber-reinforced plastic is applied onto the outer periphery of a concrete structural member by winding the fiber strands around the outer periphery of the concrete structural member while impregnating the fiber material with a resin.

Abstract: The device comprises a generator of the current address of the signal appearing at the input of the device, a unit for sampling the signal received by the device and a comparator connected by an input to the output of the current address generator, another input of the comparator receiving the address of the signal which is to be acquired and the output of the comparator supplying a control signal for the sampling unit in order to authorize it to acquire the current signal present at the input of the device, when the address of the current signal is equal to the address of the signal which is to be acquired.

Abstract: Pyrazoline derivatives useful as insecticides having the formula ##STR1## wherein X represents a hydrogen atom or a halogen atom; Y represents a halogen atom, a trifluoromethyl group or --A--R'; R represents a C.sub.1-10 alkyl group, a lower alkenyl group or a lower alkynyl group; and A represents an oxygen atom, a sulfur atom, a sulfinyl group or a sulfonyl group and R' represents a halogen-substituted lower alkyl group.

Abstract: A water repellent gypsum composition comprising a gypsum, and a paraffin emulsion prepared by emulsifying (a) paraffin hydrocarbon having a melting point of 40.degree.-80.degree. C and (b) an oxidized paraffin having an acid value of 10-70 at a ratio of from 97:3 to 50:50 by weight, respectively, in the presence of a water soluble alkali compound. Optionally, a polymer emulsion or solution may be added.
