Abstract: A drive control apparatus for a vehicle including an engine which generates power using combustion of fuel; a hydrodynamic power transmission device which transmits an output of the engine via fluid, includes an input side and an output side which can be directly coupled; a lock-up engagement device which engages the lock-up clutch when a predetermined lock-up engagement condition is satisfied; and a lock-up restriction device which stops engagement control performed by the lock-up engagement device so as to disengage the lock-up clutch if there is a possibility that knocking will occur in the engine when the lock-up clutch is engaged by the lock-up engagement device. A shock at the time of tip-in acceleration is suppressed irrespective of knocking prevention control so as to improve riding comfort. In addition, occurrence of a droning noise is suppressed.
Abstract: The present invention relates to a vascular embolic material for use in the treatment of an angiotropy of various tumors and a vascular malformation. Specifically, the present invention relates to a vascular embolic material having the specific morphological, physicochemical and radiological characteristics and multifunction in the form of a bead or a sponge comprising a mixture of a hydrophilic polymer material and a metal material. The specific physicochemical and radiological characteristics of the vascular embolic material according to the present invention facilitate its clinical use and aid in the diagnosis before and after the embolization. Further, a local radiation treatment and anticancer treatment is possible and thus the therapeutic effect on said disorders can be enhanced.
Abstract: A mechanism for coupling tooling cassettes (60) in a numerical control machining unit for a transfer machine of the type comprising a frame (10) with rails (11, 12) for moving (X arrow) a vertical knee (20) with two posts (21 and 22) also provided with rails (21a and 22b) on which a movable headstock (30) slides (Y arrow), with a spindle-supporting slide (40) passing through the headstock (Z arrow); and a magazine (50) for a tooling cassette (60) positioned on the headstock (30), surrounding the knee (20), and through which the slide (40) may pass, comprising a ring (5) supporting the cassettes (60) and rotatably mounted (R arrow) about the knee (20).
Abstract: A redundant front suspension system for a turboshaft engine mounted on a on of an aircraft comprises a primary suspension device forming the normal front suspension of the engine, and an emergency suspension device which operates in the event of failure of the normal suspension. The primary suspension device comprises a base support which is fixed to the pylon and has a suspension shaft which co-operates with the intermediate casing of the engine. Thrust take-up rods connect the intermediate casing to the base support. The emergency suspension device comprises a first support secured to the pylon and a second support secured to the intermediate casing, each of these two supports having a vertical yoke associated with it. The vertical yokes are interconnected by a connecting rod in a manner which provides a clearance between the rod and at least one of the yokes.
