  • Patent number: 6924247
Abstract: The object of the present invention relates to a simple, rapid and inexpensive process for effecting solid-liquid separations in the case of zeolites, also having small crystals. This process, which is particularly useful for the recovery of zeolite crystals in suspension in the crystallization water, comprises treating this suspension of crystals with an acid or one of its precursors and subjecting the resulting mixture to filtration or decanting. According to a particular aspect of the invention, the crystalline phase is separated in a mixture with oxides which can be used as ligands. Said oxides can be generated by the reagents of the zeolite preparation reagent mixture, not transformed into crystalline phase during the synthesis hydrothermal treatment, or they can be added to the suspension of crystals before the separation treatment, or again they can be generated by precursors suitably added to the crystallization slurry.

  • Patent number: 6859613
Abstract: In recording audio information, an information medium in a format obtained by expanding the RTR (recordable/reproducible DVD) standard is used. For management information about each piece of information recorded on the information medium, an “audio information cell” is defined as a playback unit even for audio information as in the RTR standard. To a PGC (program chain) higher in level than the cell, “playback sequence” information about the relationship between other video information (movie cells) and/or still picture information (still picture cells) is given.

  • Patent number: 6787009
Abstract: Electrolysis cell consisting of 2 monopolar electrodes and one or more intermediate bipolar electrodes, where the one monopolar electrode and the parts of the bipolar electrodes charged in the same sense thereto together form the working electrode and the other monopolar electrode and the parts of the bipolar electrodes charged in the same sense thereto together form the counter electrode the space between counter and working electrode is undivided the surface of the counter electrode consists of electrochemically active and inactive parts the sum of the electrochemically active parts of the surface of the counter electrode is smaller by a large amount than that of the electrochemically active parts of the surface of the working electrode.

  • Patent number: 6714927
Abstract: In an apparatus for retrieving documents, each document and a query character string are divided into a plurality of index keys. A retrieval condition analyzing part analyses a retrieval condition including the index keys divided from the query character string and generates a retrieval condition tree synthesized by at least one operator that retrieves an intermediate retrieval result including the document information from said index table. A retrieval condition evaluating part evaluates each intermediate retrieval result obtained by the retrieval condition tree and determining a final retrieval result.

  • Patent number: 6619425
Abstract: A soundproof cover includes a sealing layer, a sound insulation layer, and a vibration inhibition layer. The sound insulation layer has a peripheral portion, is to be disposed so as to contact at least the peripheral portion with a noise source, and exhibits elasticity. The sound insulation layer is formed as a hard plate shape, has an installation portion to be fastened to the noise source, and is disposed so as to cover the sealing layer. The vibration inhibition layer is disposed on at least a part of an interface between the sealing layer and the sound insulation layer so as to adhere to the sound insulation layer, and inhibits the sound insulation layer from vibrating.

  • Patent number: 6581207
Abstract: In an information filtering unit connected with user's video equipment by a communications line, a program content analyzing section analyzes the contents of broadcast programs from a broadcasting station in terms of substantial information such as video and sound. A collation evaluation section evaluates the similarity between the analyses and a user's profile stored in a profile storage section. A program selecting selection transmits the result of program selection to the video equipment in the form of time information. The video equipment receives and records a program from the broadcasting station in accordance with the time information sent from the information filtering unit.
