Each cell may include a first light source for irradiating light to a photosensitive material in the living body. Further, a photostimulation apparatus may include: a membrane for insertion into a living body; and at least one first light source disposed on the membrane for irradiating light to a photosensitive material in the living body. Since the photostimulation apparatus is placed on the surface of cortex or dura, it may minimize damage of the brain tissue and may activate and/or inhibit a large area simultaneously using light.

Abstract: An optical line terminal calculates a requirement threshold for each optical subscriber unit based on a difference between the time average allocated bandwidth of each optical subscriber unit and the target bandwidth, and notifies a corresponding optical subscriber unit of the calculated requirement threshold. The corresponding optical subscriber unit then notifies, based on the data amount accumulated in a buffer, the optical line terminal of a data amount, as a transmission requirement, up to a data separation that is less or equal to the notified requirement threshold and in which a maximum transmission amount can be transmitted. The optical line terminal then notifies the corresponding optical subscriber unit of a transmission permission amount in which the data equal to the transmission requirement of which the optical line terminal is notified can be transmitted. The corresponding optical subscriber unit then transmits the data amount corresponding to the transmission permission amount.

Abstract: A wireless communication apparatus which can simultaneously conduct communication on at least two frequency channels is described. The apparatus includes a communication unit which refers to a connection management table to determine a communication system which can be used by a wireless communication terminal using an identifier of the wireless communication terminal, and conducts communication with the wireless communication terminal on a second frequency channel using the communication system, when a request from the wireless communication terminal to change the first frequency channel to the second frequency channel is permitted.

Abstract: In a method for communication, first and second signals for timing synchronization are generated. Frequencies of the first and second signals are converted to other frequencies to obtain a first and second RF signals, which have a specific frequency gap therebetween. The first and second RF signals are combined to obtain a transmission signal, and the transmission signal is transmitted. When the transmission signal is received as a received signal, the frequency of the received signal is shifted by the specific frequency gap to obtain a converted signal. A complex conjugation of the converted signal calculated to obtain a complex conjugation signal. The received signal and the complex conjugation signal are multiplied to obtain a multiplication signal to calculate cross-correlation between a product of the first and second signals and the multiplication signal. A peak of the cross-correlation is detected to set a base time for timing synchronization.

Abstract: The present invention relates to a hole-jetting type reactor and its applications, in particular to a process for the production of isocyanates by the phosgenation of aliphatic or aromatic diamines or triamines in the gas phase using this reactor. The present invention achieves a good mixing and reacting result of the gas-phase phosgenation reaction at a high temperature by improving the mixing of reactants in the reactor to reduce the possibility of forming swirls and eliminate negative pressure produced at a local jet area, which can finally reduce back-mixing and formation of solid by-products.
