    Abstract: In a method for producing a multilayer printed wiring board, first and second copper foils for surface layer are disposed on both sides of an inner wiring substrate so that each of first and second prepreg sheets provided with through-holes is sandwiched between each of the copper foils for surface layer and each face of the substrate, the through-holes being formed therethrough at desired positions corresponding to positions where the connecting pads on each face of the substrate are formed, and the resulting structure is integrally bonded by applying heat and pressure thereto. During the heat- and pressure-processing step, the through-holes within the prepreg sheets are filled with a resin fused from the prepreg sheets. After selectively removing the copper foil for surface layer within an area which matches each of the connecting pads, the resin is selectively removed by the irradiation of laser beams to form via holes and allow the connecting pads to be exposed.

A voltage-controlled variable capacitance element is secured to the substrate and electrically connected to the second stripline.

    Abstract: A laser optics device comprises a semiconductor laser and a lens system spaced in a defined distance from each other. The semiconductor laser and the lens system are aligned along an optical axis. To keep the laser and lens system fixed and adjusted with the optical axis in spite of thermal expansions, the semiconductor and the lens system are supported within a sleeve having axial slots. The slots extend along a substantial part of the length of the sleeve. Compressible rings are provided for radial elastic compression of the sleeve in the area of the slots. The lens system and the semiconductor laser thereby are clamped elastically in a centered position within the sleeve which is mounted within the cylindric bore of a housing member.

    Abstract: A stationary support device for a paper making machine wire has a movable cover strip, which is formed of a movable support strip and a head strip formed of a hard material on the support strip. The head strip has a leading upstream edge over which the wire slides and has a dewatering surface after the leading edge and which forms a variable angle of inclination with the wire. In the region of its front edge the moveable support strip is connected by a web-groove joint to a rigid support. A bar which is displaceable cross machine is inserted in the rigid support on the rear of the support device. A plurality of obliquely extending grooves are provided in the bar. In each groove there is a slide block which receives the spherical head of a pin. The pin is engaged by its external thread in the internal thread of a square bushing which is fastened in the support strip of the cover strip. The position of the pin can be adjusted parallel to the direction of travel of the wire in the bushing.

    Abstract: A block copy image is divided into several regions R1 and R6, to which different system colors are allocated. A subject region PR including a line break CP1 is specified by an operator. Run-length data of a run-length less than or equal to a predetermined threshold value is automatically detected out of various run-length data representing the subject region PR. White/black designation data defining the color of an image in the run-length data is changed into the color of a linework. The break CP1 in the linework is thus reconnected without operator's instruction. Alternatively, the subject region PR is divided into two portions. The two portions are further divided into separate areas to which different system colors are allocated. This enables an operator to easily detect the position of a line break because the linework elements separated by a break have different colors. The break is then reconnected according to operator's instruction.

A golf club shaft is formed by heating a mandrel, applying thermoplastic resin powder to the mandrel and then winding a lamellar prepreg around the mandrel to thereby form a hollow shaft. A golf club is formed from a head and shaft formed as described above by enlarging the end of the shaft, placing the shaft and the head in a mold and heating the mold under pressure.

It consists in particular of magnesium trisilicate, sucralfate and/or a bismuth salt. Each granule contains at least one acid component, at least one carbonate component and at least one active substance bound to one another.

    Abstract: In order to eliminate any harmful influence due to electric field radiation on the human body, electric field radiation from a front surface of a cathode ray tube is reduced. A degaussing coil arranged in proximity to a peripheral edge of a front surface of a cathode ray tube is employed advantageously. The degaussing coil is supplied with a voltage which is opposite in polarity to an electric field radiated from the front surface of the cathode ray tube. The reverse polarity voltage is derived from an output signal obtained from an output signal of a horizontal deflection circuit by a flyback transformer and/or derived from a voltage obtained by phase-inverting an anode voltage fluctuating in vertical synchronization.
