    Abstract: A device for deflecting a light beam in response to an audio input signal includes a hub member, a mirror flexibly attached to the hub member, a magnet connected to the mirror, an electromagnetic coil, and a low pass filter. The electromagnetic coil is positioned adjacent the magnet for producing an electromagnetic field in relation to a received audio input signal when energized, thereby urging the magnet and the mirror to oscillate with respect to the hub member in relation to the audio input signal. The low pass filter filters out audio input signal frequencies that would cause the mirror and the magnet to naturally resonate. The mirror may be attached at an offset angle that causes a light beam striking the mirror to be deflected angularly away from an axis of rotation passing through the hub member.

    Abstract: A thermal transfer internal combustion engine with an air transfer cylinder located between a pair of power cylinders. The transfer cylinder has an intake valve and two transfer valves alternately feeding the two power cylinders. The power cylinders each contain a mono valve used for both intake and exhaust. Counter-flow manifolds connect the mono valves of the power cylinders to the transfer valves of the transfer cylinder. A regenerator with catalytic converter properties is located in each counter-flow manifold. The regenerator is heated by exhaust gases exiting the power cylinders, prior to exiting the engine through exhaust dump valves. Uncompressed intake air is pushed from the transfer cylinder through the regenerator where it is heated and delivered to the power cylinder for conventional processing. The heat recovery system provides high compression temperatures at low compression ratios, reducing engine fuel consumption.

    Abstract: A throwout bearing lever for a centrifugal clutch having a dynamic adjustable weight assembly. The lever comprises a lever having an assembly aperture through the lever and an adjustment screw aperture in communication with the assembly aperture. A threaded adjustment screw within the adjustment screw aperture has a resilient member seat and an adjusting tool receiving seat. A sliding carrier slideable within the assembly aperture has a fastener aperture through the carrier and a resilient member seat. A weight fastener fastens a weight to the carrier. A resilient member seated against the resilient member seats resiliently biases the carrier against an end of the assembly aperture. The threaded adjustment screw allows for adjustment of the resiliency of the resilient member. The assembly slides within the assembly aperture, changing the weight distribution of the lever effecting movement of the lever during operational movement of the clutch.

    Abstract: A computer mouse having a separately movable hand rest. The mouse comprises a housing having a conically shaped depression within a top wall of the housing tapering to an aperture through the top wall. A connecting pin extends through the aperture with an interior end secured within the mouse housing. A hand rest providing support to the heel and palm of the hand is orbitally connected to the connecting pin by an aperture through the hand rest located within a concave portion sized to fit within the depression of the mouse housing. The hand rest has an arcuate shaped bottom portion and a base end moving about the mouse housing during use to maintain alignment of the hand rest with the hand. The housing moves free of interference from the hand rest adjacent the arcuate shaped bottom portion. A tensioning means tensions movement of the hand rest about the housing.

    Abstract: A firebox cover for thermally sealing off a firebox while not in use comprising a flexible barrier member, a sealing member and a magnet member. The flexible insulating barrier member covers a firebox opening within a room preventing thermal energy within the room from exiting through the firebox opening and preventing thermal energy within the firebox from entering the room. The barrier member has a cellular structure with a thermally reflective front face and thermally reflective back face. The sealing member about the periphery of the barrier member provides a substantially air tight seal about edges of the barrier member when the sealing member is magnetically affixed to a metallic surface surrounding the firebox opening during use of the cover.

    Abstract: The defibrillator storage device has an enclosure comprised of wall sections, a top section, bottom section and door section defining an interior compartment of sufficient size to house a defibrillator. A defibrillator mount is connected to the interior of the enclosure. An alarm means having a visual alarm signal and an audible alarm signal is used to indicate that the door of the device has been opened, signaling a possible cardiac arrest incident. An activation switch for triggering the alarm is connected to the door and positioned to contact an enclosure wall when the door is closed. The normally open switch is closed and is closed when the door is opened. An alarm deactivating switch connected in circuit to the alarm is used to reset the system or to totally deactivate the alarm.

    Abstract: A device to protect the wearer's wrist and hand between the wearer's thumb and index finger from the localized repetitive impact associated with operating a hand held power actuated gun is disclosed. The device comprises an adjustable glove for the hand, wrist, and lower forearm which provides a gap to allow adjustment to the wearer's lower forearm, wrist and hand. The glove is secured on the wearer's forearm, wrist, and hand by adjustable fasteners situated across the gap that runs along the back side of the glove. A pocket is provided on the palm side of the adjustable glove that engages a padded reinforcement member which extends from the forearm of the wearer to the mid-palm area of the wearer and across the palm toward the thumb, covering both the palm and side of the hand from the from the first joint of the index finger to the midpoint between the first and second joints of the thumb, between the index finger and thumb.
