Abstract: A printing device for seamless printing on a cloth is provided. A design is transferred from a print medium to the cloth. The device includes a print cylinder and a heater heating the print cylinder. The print medium is wrapped around the print cylinder, and the cloth is wrapped around the print medium. The heating of the print cylinder transfers the design to the cloth. The cloth is also seamless. The transfer of the design is done by sublimation of dye, which forms the design, induced by heating of the print cylinder. The print medium is a sublimation paper. An optional cylindrical cover is also provided. The cylindrical cover is placed around the print cylinder, and the print medium and the cloth are wrapped around the cylindrical cover.
Abstract: A variable focal length lens comprising micromirrors with one degree of freedom rotation is invented. The lens consists of many micromirrors and actuating components. The array of micromirrors with one degree of freedom rotation makes all lights scattered from one point of an object converge at one point of image plane by using rotation of micromirror. The micromirror has the same function as a mirror. Therefore, the reflective surface of the micromirror is made of metal, metal compound, multi-layered dielectric material, or other materials with high reflectivity. The actuating components control the rotational displacements of micromirrors electrostatically and/or electromagnetically. The optical efficiency of the micromirror array lens is increased by locating a mechanical structure upholding micromirrors and the actuating components under micromirrors. The known CMOS technologies can remove the loss in effective reflective area due to electrode pads and wires.
Abstract: A pharmaceutical tablet dispensing and packaging system comprising a packaging unit, a first dispensing unit above the packaging unit and defined by a front portion, a rear portion and side portions where tablet cassettes containing tablets are installed in the dispensing unit detachably through the front portion and aligned in columns to selectively release the tablets through the rear portion into the tablet packaging unit, a second dispensing unit mirrored and hinged to the first dispensing unit to form spatial shafts by corresponding grooves of the dispensing units, and a hopper disposed beneath the dispensing units into the tablet packaging unit. Vertical dividers are formed on the rear portion to incorporate the vertical grooves between and by the dividers and each rear side of the tablet cassettes.
Abstract: An image display device includes a case having an opening, a luminous source image display displaying a first image, a focusing element receiving light from the source image display and focusing the light to form a second image that is viewable through the opening of the case, and an image source providing image information to the source image display so that the source image display displays the first image. The focusing element has a concave mirror and a mirror supporter that supports the concave mirror. The perimeter of the concave mirror has at least one straight- cut portion that has a line contact with the mirror supporter. The image information provided by the image source is changed with user interaction.
Abstract: A control device for an infrared ray sauna facility is provided. The sauna facility has a chamber and the chamber has a door and infrared ray generating units, and the control device includes a control circuit, an inside control panel that is connected to the control circuit and is installed inside the chamber, and an outside control panel that is connected to the control circuit and is installed outside the chamber. The control circuit controls the infrared ray generating units to adjust the temperature of the sauna facility. Each of the inside control panel and outside control panel includes a display device and an input device. The control circuit includes a clock so that a user of the sauna facility can reserve time to use the sauna facility. The control device also includes a temperature sensor so that the control circuit performs feedback control of the temperature.
Abstract: A figure eight descender for rappelling with a rope includes a first loop, a second loop, a neck connecting the first loop and the second loop, and a clip attached on the neck. The clip surrounds the rope so that the clip contains the rope between the first loop and the second loop, preventing the rope from sliding over the first loop or the second loop. The clip has a U-shaped body, and the body has a first end and a second end. The first end is supported by a hinge provided on the neck so that the body can pivot around the hinge, and the clip is spring-biased so that the second end is forced toward the neck.
Abstract: A tablet cassette control method of a medication dispensing and packaging system having a microcomputer, a medication dispensing unit with a plurality of tablet cassettes each mounted on a cassette rack, and a medication packaging unit disposed below the dispensing unit to package tablets released from the dispensing unit into a series of tablet containing paper bags, the control method comprises confirming the mounting of the tablet cassette on the cassette rack, applying a power to a memory in the tablet cassette to activate the memory, retrieving tablet information saved in the memory to the microcomputer, and breaking the power from the memory while maintaining operation of the system.
Abstract: A multi-purpose eyeglass set comprises base lenses, a base bridge connecting inner portions of the base lenses, a substantially curved support having a mid portion and wing portions extending from each end of the mid portion so that the mid portion is attached to the base bridge, cover lenses, and a cover bridge connecting inner portions of the cover lenses. The cover bridge has a hook extending from a mid portion thereof so that the curved support mid portion is clipped over by the cover bridge hook when required.
Abstract: A complex root canal plugging apparatus for dental work, with a gun-type injection device and a pen-type vertical spreader connected to a single controller, is disclosed. The spreader consists of a body part, a power transmission part, a chucking part, and a plugger tip. The power transmission part consists of a first contact ring connected to the first electric wire, an insulating ring, a second contact ring. The plugger tip consists of a hollow mounting part inserted into the chuck, a hollow heating part extending from the mounting part while being tapered, with a heating member installed in the end of the heating part. A second electric wire is connected to the second contact ring, and axially extends through the heating part after passing through the mounting part while coming into contact with the upper portion of the heating member.
Abstract: A foldable tricycle includes a center frame, a front frame to which a front wheel is rotatably attached, a rear frame to which two rear wheels are rotatably attached, and a four-bar link including a first bar that is integrated with the front frame, a second bar that is integrated with the center frame, a third bar that is integrated with the rear frame, and a fourth bar. The fourth bar has a shape of plates and covers the other bars while the link operates between an unfolded position and a folded position. Lockers that locks the link in either the unfolded position or the folded position are provided and include a pin, two recesses that receives the pin, and a tension spring that presses the pin into the recesses. A semi-circle guide guides the pin between the two positions and also covers the third bar.
Abstract: A micromirror array lens consists of many micromirrors with two degrees of freedom rotation and one degree of freedom translation and actuating components. As a reflective variable focal length lens, the array of micromirrors makes all lights scattered from one point of an object have the same periodic phase and converge at one point of image plane. As operating methods for the lens, the actuating components control the positions of micromirrors electrostatically and/or electromagnetically. The optical efficiency of the micromirror array lens is increased by locating a mechanical structure upholding micromirrors and the actuating components under micromirrors. Semiconductor microelectronics technologies can remove the loss in effective reflective area due to electrode pads and wires. The lens can correct aberration by controlling each micromirror independently. Independent control of each micromirror is possible by known semiconductor microelectronics technologies.
