Abstract: The cantilever and compression strength of a polymer post insulator decreases according to lengthening of lever length of the polymer post insulator. By combining polymer post insulators to construct a structure having an increased strength in an arbitrary direction, a polymer insulator apparatus and a method for mounting the same can provide a sufficient strength and rigidity even as a long insulator for high voltage that requires a long insulation distance. Polymer post insulator columns 12-1, 12-2, in which plural polymer post insulators 1-1 to 1-4 are stacked, are arranged in parallel. The polymer post insulator columns 12-1, 12-2 arranged in parallel are connected with each other via connecting plates 13-1 to 13-3 at each connection site of the polymer post insulators 1-1 to 1-4 constituting the polymer post insulator columns 12-1, 12-2 as well as at the top and bottom of the polymer post insulator columns 12-1, 12-2.

  • Patent number: 6895172
Abstract: In a video signal reproducing apparatus, the changing time of a sub-video signal is adjusted, by a time-adjusting circuit, so as to be synchronized with the changing of a frame of a main video signal from the output of an interlace-scan-video-signal converter. And the sub-signal is added to the output of an interlace-scan converter by an adder. The output of the adder is converted into a progressive-scan video signal in synchronism with the boundary of frames of main video signal by the progressive-scan video signal converter. In the reproducing apparatus, even in the case that the sub-video signal is recorded without synchronism with the frames of the main video signal, an irregular frame is not generated even when the sub-video changes. And a single field of the sub-video does not leave or is not visible.

  • Patent number: 6890449
Abstract: A method of manufacturing a PCB comprising the steps of: forming through-holes in a substrate having releasing layers on front and back faces; filling conductive paste in the through-holes; removing the releasing layers and disposing metal foil on both faces of the substrate; and heat pressing them. A diameter of the through-holes is larger than that of corresponding holes formed on the releasing layers. According to the present invention, when the conductive paste is compressed, conductive paste protruding from the surface of the substrate is trapped at the edges of the through-holes. This configuration prevents short circuits with undesirable wiring patterns. So, an enough amount of the conductive paste can protrude from the surface of the substrate. Therefore, after the compression, stable electric connections inside the conductive paste and between the conductive paste and the metal foils are ensured, thus PCBs with superior reliability can be produced.

  • Patent number: 6888285
Abstract: An electric rotating machine and a fan motor for vehicle are obtained, wherein variation width of current waveform resulting from occurrence of coils in a short circuit state is narrowed to reduce vibration and noise. A commutator 26 of the fan motor for vehicle comprises twelve segments 24, and a pair of positive/negative brushes are press-contacted to the commutator 26. Among the segments 24, at least one of pairs of segments that the brushes simultaneously contact have mutually different pitches. Therefore, timing when the coil in the short circuit state occurs at an armature and timing when the coil is released from the short circuit state of one brush deviate from those of the other brush temporally. Accordingly, the variation width of current waveform of electric current supplied to the coil connected to the pair of segments 24 narrows at least.
