Abstract: A disposable toothbrush with a built-in toothpaste applicator mechanism, the toothbrush mainly comprising a multiplicity of bristles, a plurality of apertures located between the bristles, a hollow compartment for containing a quantity of toothpaste, a bore connecting the apertures and the hollow compartment, a flexible locking member, and a plunger with a head, a base and a stem. The head of the plunger is dimensioned to achieve a substantially gapless interface inside the hollow compartment for pushing the toothpaste into the bore and out from the apertures. The locking member is secured over the stem of plunger for preventing it from being accidentally pushed into the hollow compartment before using the toothbrush. In order to use the toothbrush, first the locking member is removed. Then the plunger is pushed into the hollow compartment to extract the toothpaste out from the plurality of apertures and on to the bristles.
Abstract: A game apparatus comprising at least two receptacles, at least two pumps for pumping fluid into the at least two receptacles and a weight-activated mechanism to deliver the receptacle contents to a location of the pumps after a receptacle is filled with a predetermined amount of fluid. Connections between the pumps and receptacle may be made such that a receptacle does not deliver its contents to the location of a pump filling it. However, the connections can also be made such that the receptacle delivers its contents to the location of the pump filling it.
Abstract: A device for generating a vortex of the airflow passing through an air intake passage of an engine. The device comprises a cylindrical skirt, a plurality of holes in the cylindrical skirt and a plurality of vanes projecting inwardly from the inner surface of the cylindrical skirt. Each of the holes is defined by at least bottom, top, first and second side edges. Each of the vanes comprise a first planar section projecting at an angle from the first edge of the hole and a second planar section projecting at an angle from the first planar section. The device can be installed inside any cylindrical air intake passage. The orientation of the first and second planar sections of the vanes helps in converting the random airflow into a regular swirling motion, which increases the oxidation of fuel and improves the efficiency and fuel economy of the engine.
Abstract: A suspended lifting apparatus for grasping and releasing unwieldy objects. As the apparatus is raised, a hinged mechanism causes the weight of the object being lifted to draw extendable lever arms of the apparatus inward, thereby gripping the object. An articulating scooping mechanism at the bottom of the lever arms helps to grip or cradle the object as it is lifted, ensuring that it maintains a firm grip on the object. An offset mechanism is used to move the lever arms into an open position and hold them in that position before lifting, until the apparatus is in the proper position.
Abstract: A single bat carrier that can be used conveniently in a baseball or softball game to carry and transport a user's bat is disclosed in the present invention. The single bat carrier comprises a bat bag made of Denier nylon with a closed bottom end, a heavy-duty plastic tube inserted into the bat bag to prevent any damage to the bat, a top end cap assembly with a hinge means that fastens to the plastic tube to cover the top opening, a zipper for connecting the end cap and the nylon bat bag, another end cap glued to the bottom side of the plastic tube to hold the bat, a plurality of nylon straps for carrying purposes and for holding a baseball or softball glove, and a snap hook for fastening the single bat carrier to a fence.
Abstract: A dental implant assembly comprising; a first part for fixing a tooth, a second part configured for receiving a threaded fastening means, said fastening means having a head portion and a threaded portion for fastening said first and second parts, a locking mechanism provided with both said first and second parts for locking rotational motion against each other on placing on top of one another, and, characterized in that; said first and second parts and head portion of the fastening means have predetermined profiles such that on screwing said fastening means into said second part a substantial part of the head portion descends into the second part and rests on the profiled sections of first and second parts making a complete contact, thereby, shielding threaded portion of the fastening means from masticating forces.
Abstract: A moisture-adding microwave food cover apparatus, comprising of a capped (not absolutely essential, but part of the current implementation of the design) conical or dome-like structure, with an upper liquid reservoir, cool fin handle, removable top center cap, and a lower condensed moisture reservoir. The apparatus may be manufactured from any microwaveable material and it is efficient in preventing spatter, retaining heat, retaining moisture, and adding moisture to food that is heated or cooked using a microwave oven. The apparatus is easy to use, easy to clean, easy to manufacture, and reduces the time required to cook or heat food in a microwave.
Abstract: The present invention relates to a new chemical compound known as hexa-citrated phytate and a method of production thereof. The new chemical compound has six citrate molecules attached at the hydroxyl group of a citric acid to phosphates of a phytate molecule. This new chemical compound is a very effective oral chelator maintaining metals and metalloids in the saline solution of blood. The new chemical compound is also very effective in dissolving artery plaque, as well as copper, zinc and iron.
