Abstract: Devices for applying orthodontic forces. A device includes an adaptor having a housing section configured to fit directly onto a sheath of a molar band and a tube section having an elongated bore. The device also includes a pin having a head portion and a tail portion, where the tail portion is slidably mounted into the elongated bore of the tube section. The head portion of the pin is adapted to slide into the sheath to thereby detachably lock the adaptor to the molar band.
Abstract: A dual stack module controlling apparatus for low power consumption is disclosed. The dual stack module controlling apparatus for low power consumption includes an IP address version determining part to determine an IP address version based on current IP address assignment information transmitted thereto from an IP address control module, and an internet protocol stack controlling part to activate a TCP/UDP stack processor module, an IP stack processor module and an IP packet preprocessor module for processing data of the determined IP address version and to deactivate a TCP/UDP stack processor module, an IP stack processor module and an IP packet preprocessor module for processing data of a different IP address version from the determining IP address version. According to the dual stack module controlling apparatus for low power consumption, one of the IPv4 and IPv6 modules may be activated as necessary.
Abstract: Disclosed is a safety device for motorcycle, the safety device for motorcycle comprising: a supporting assembly installed onto both lateral side of the motorcycle body, with a plurality of parts of which are rotatable relative to each other; a supporting wheel installed onto the supporting assembly which is rotatable relative to the supporting assembly a push-pull unit that connects the supporting assembly to the motorcycle body, pushes the supporting assembly in order for the supporting wheel contacting with ground, and pulls the supporting assembly in order for the supporting wheel for taking off the ground; and a control unit that controls the push-pull unit. According to the present invention the motorcycle will not easily fall down when it stops for a moment in driving, the driver can easily support the motorcycle, and the motorcycle will not incline over a predetermined angle in driving curved path.
Abstract: An adjustable golf shaft having an upper shaft member and a lower shaft member. The upper shaft member has an elongated bore therein and the lower shaft member has a cylinder and a rod having one end fixed to a proximal end of the cylinder. A fixed bushing is positioned within the elongated bore of the upper shaft member and has an elongated bore extending therethrough. The rod is slidably mounted through the elongated bore of the bushing. The frictional force between the rod and the bushing prevents the rod from sliding relative to the bushing when the user of the golf swings the golf shaft.
