  • Patent number: 6383264
Abstract: An air filtering system used to increase the filter capture efficiency of particulate matter carried in the air. Particulate matter carried in the air, such as in a furnace forced air system, receives a charge by contacting the duct's surface. As these charged particles move through conventional air filter material most are captured and retained in the material. To increase this capture rate of particulate matter, spaced magnetic strips are placed in the filter material in a generally parallel configuration. The polarity of the magnetic strips can be alternated to insure particles having positive of negative charges are slowed down, diverted, or both, as they flow through the filter material. The result of this action is an increase in the capture efficiency of the filter material. It is believed that the capture efficiency can be increased from about 87 percent with no magnetic strips to about 96 percent when strips are used.

  • Patent number: 6364324
Abstract: A tow sled designed for use with a self powered snowmobile. A draw bar and hitch devices are provided to join the sled to the snowmobile. The tow sled has two lower and spaced outside runners that extend along its length with each runner having a lower ground engaging surface and an upright surface oriented at approximately ninety degrees. Mounted to outside of the outside runners near the rear end of the sled are two side hard metal plates. Each of the plates have a lower ground engaging surface that extends below the ground engaging surface of the outside runner on which it is mounted. The lower plate surfaces are used to engage hard ice with the outside runners contacting the ice to provide for steady and straight tracking of the sled. To secure cargo with cross sled tie down cords like bungee cords or the like, fourteen tie down members made with brackets and a joining rope are spaced along the length of the sled and are mounted to the sled.

  • Patent number: 6364131
Abstract: A dish ware holding or anchoring device that interconnects the existing support structure for dish ware in a dishwasher to individual dish ware pieces to prevent their movement. The holding device has an alligator style anchor clip at one end connected by a-flexible connector to a prong receiving opposite anchor end. Typically, the existing dish ware support structure used in a dishwasher has an opened end prong over which a hole in the prong receiving anchor end may snugly sidle and fit over. The opposite end alligator style anchor clip end is attached to the to be retained piece of dish ware, like a cup bowl, measuring cup, etc. which piece has been inverted when placed on the support structure to prevent the accumulation of liquids. By so anchoring the dish ware to be cleaned with the existing structure of the dish ware support, the individual pieces are retained in position and no liquids are retained by them.

  • Patent number: 6339448
Abstract: An unmanned visual monitoring system used outdoors to patrol large expanses of space such as along highways, fences, railroad lines, rivers, borders, beaches, etc. Guidance and support for the unmanned surveillance camera carriage vehicle, as well as the electrical power for its operation, are provided to the carriage and camera by conductive track cables. Spaced superstructures having upright poles and a cantilever extension placed along the track system length act to vertically support the system above the ground. At a remote control center location from the carriage, an operator can control the movement of the vehicle and the operation of the video camera. Operational electrical power for moving the carriage and controlling the camera's movement are supplied via power lines connected at different polarities to the track cables of the track system.

  • Patent number: 6321692
Abstract: A fuel additive delivery system used with the fuel system of an engine. When fuel is added to a holding tank fluid pressure is reduced at a Venturi guide. The Venturi guide is connected to an additive delivery system. When the static fluid pressure in the Venturi guide falls below a level a sucking action is initiated. This action opens a normally closed valve in a meter system connected to an additive tank. When the valve opens additive flows from the additive tank into and past the Venturi guide into a fuel holding tank for the engine.
