Abstract: An apparatus and method for qualitative assessment of pelvic floor muscular strength includes inserting a spherical intracavitary device into vagina or anus above the level of the levator plate and measuring a force necessary to remove the inserted device from the vagina or anus. A diagnostic set for qualitative assessment of pelvic floor muscular strength, includes at least one spherical intracavitary device and a force gauge. The device and force gauge can be attached together after insertion of the device into the vagina or anus.

Abstract: A lighted fish measurement device. The apparatus comprises a connection to an outside power source, a backlight source, and circuitry to connect the outside power source to the backlight source. A generally clear rule face including graduations in American Standard and Metric measurements. A semi-transparent colored overlay, variable in length, is mountable over the backlit rule face highlighting user specific graduation lengths. A rugged waterproof enclosure, with a positive stop at the beginning of the rule and a means to secure the lighted fish measurement device to a fishing vessel.

Abstract: An apparatus for attaching sensors to rotating shafts on equipment includes a cup magnet and a housing for receiving the cup magnet. A target rotor is displaced within the housing which rotates when attached to a rotating shaft for the purpose of sensing the shaft rotation. Alternately, the cup magnet may be permanently attached to a rotating couple rather than a non-rotating housing. A preferred embodiment may have a dust cover.

Abstract: A stringed instrument has an instrument body, a neck pivotally attached to the body so as to allow rotation of neck from an operative position to a folded position and a string mount rotatably secured to the instrument body. At least one string has a first and a second end, the first end is attached to neck portion and the second end is attached to the string mount. A drive mechanism is also included for rotating the string mount in direct response to pivotal movement of the neck towards said body so as to wind the at least one string onto the string mount when the neck is pivotally moved between the operative position to the folded position. In a preferred embodiment rotation of the string mount preserves tension in the at least one string when the neck is pivotally moved from the operative to the folded position. When the neck is in the folded position the at least one string is stowed substantially wound on the string mount.

Abstract: A learning enhancing card game comprises four or more suits of cards, each card having a front side and back side, each suit comprising a predetermined number of first cards having information thereon and a corresponding predetermined number of second cards, each second card having information correlated to information on one of the first cards from the suit, and two or more wild cards, each having a front side and a back side. The card information relates to religious studies, in particular the Christian Bible and each suit is topically related to each other such as peace, love, faith, commandments, evil, happiness, prayer, and hope.
