    Abstract: The present invention generally relates to a device and a method for supplying conditioned air for heating and/or cooling to an aircraft. More specifically, the present invention provides a hose in a container and a retractor. The retractor may engage the hose and pull the hose from the container. The container may deliver the hose to the aircraft via the retractor. In addition, the retractor may also retract the hose into the container when the hose is not needed. Further, the retractor may be released from the hose and container, allowing the hose to be pulled manually from the container.

    Abstract: Disclosed is a power control circuit utilizable in an electronic device. The power control circuit includes a power on/off switch having first and second switches; a capacitive element connected to a power section via the first switch; a first switching element connected to the power section via the second switch; a microcomputer for controlling power on/off of the first switching element; and a second switching element provided between the power section and each of the microcomputer and a predetermined circuit block. The microcomputer is programmed to control the power control circuit such that, when supplying power to the microcomputer, the microcomputer holds a power-on state of the first switching element before the first switching element is turned off because of the discharge of the electric charge, and then, when the microcomputer detects that the predetermined circuit block has not operated for a given period of time, the microcomputer turns off the first switching element.

The moisture vapor permeable film may be coated with an adhesive and covered with a silicone coated protective paper or film. The film dressing may also have a tab and/or gripping strip for removal of layers and/or application of the dressing to a patient. The film dressing may be applied to the patient with the top layer printed with a the measuring guide. Alternatively, the top layer may be removed.

In the card adapter 1, one end of the link arm 60 is linked with the push member 40 via a first linking part 14, and the other end of the link arm 60 is linked with the eject lever 50 via a second linking part, whereby the movement of the eject lever 50 is transmitted to the push member 40 via the link arm 60. According to such a structure, the card adapter 1 can reliably and easily connect and disconnect the CF card 2.

    Abstract: An optical disc drive has a spindle motor for rotating an optical disc; an optical pick-up which can move at least in a radial direction of the optical disc; a sensor for detecting the rotation of the motor; and a spindle servo for controlling the rotation number of the spindle motor based on signals from the sensor. This spindle servo is adapted to be operated at the time of changing the rotation number of the spindle motor, e.g. at the time of changing rotation speed of the spindle motor in multiple steps given by integral multiples of 1 or at the time of changing rotation speed when the optical pick-up moves in the radial direction of the optical disc. According to this optical disc drive, it takes a relatively short time until the rotation speed of the motor reaches the target rotation speed and its rotation becomes stable.

After moving a disc tray to the loaded position, the optical disc forces the objective lens to move in the optical axis direction to generate a focus error signal. Then, after calculating an amplitude of the generated focus error signal, the optical disc drive discriminates the presence or absence of an optical disc and the disc type of the optical disc loaded in the optical disc drive.

The trailer may be placed on the lift and secured to the lift. A cable attached to the lift is used to pull the lift and the trailer towards a wall. The cable, with the use of a pulley system, pulls the trailer in an upward direction towards the wall such that the lift and the trailer may be elevated in a vertical direction. The lift with the trailer may be attached to the bracket on the wall and locked into place. The lift and the trailer may be removed from the wall by releasing a lock.

The receipt flap contains a portion of the mailing label and is adapted to receive additional information. An area is exposed beneath the receipt flap on the secondary layer when the receipt flap is removed from the primary layer along the tear line.

The mated connector plug has a plate member which is inserted into the spacing when the connector plug is connected to the connector socket.

    Abstract: A lifting device for lifting and moving objects with minimal effort and a method for using the same is provided. The lifting device has a cable attachable to an object and a handle on the cable. Sensors in the handle may sense vertical pressure exerted on the handle and may put out a current to a variable-speed motor in a housing of the lifting device. The motor may release or may retrieve the cable at a speed dependent upon the amount of pressure applied, thereby raising or lowering the object. Pressure of three to five pounds is sufficient to lift any object. The operator may move the object in any direction up to a radius determined by the length of the cable from the object to the housing. The housing may have an upper portion that may slide forward relative to a lower portion. Consequently, this lengthens the radius of movement allowed to the operator.
