Abstract: A method is described for enriching procaryotic DNA, said method including the steps of contacting at least one procaryotic DNA with at least one protein or polypeptide which is capable of specifically binding to non-methylated CpG motifs, and separating the protein/polypeptide-DNA complex. Moreover, the application relates to a kit for carrying out said method.

Abstract: A coolant composition for a fuel cell unit, which contains at least one aliphatic alcohol having unsaturated bonds in the molecules having 2 to 20 carbon atoms each. The coolant composition maintains the electrical conductivity of the coolant at 10 ?S/cm or below as well as the fluctuation of the electrical conductivity within the range of 0 to 10 ?S/cm.

Abstract: A fluid handling device with an anisotropic wetting surface including a substrate with a multiplicity of asymmetric substantially uniformly shaped asperities thereon. Each asperity has a first asperity rise angle and a second asperity rise angle relative to the substrate. The asperities are structured to present a desired retentive force ratio (f1/f2) greater or less than unity caused by asymmetry between the first asperity rise angle and the second asperity rise angle according to the formula: f3/f2=sin(?3+½??0)/sin(?2+½??0).
Abstract: An apparatus, method, and computer readable medium thereof for simultaneously establishing links with a plurality of nodes in a wireless network are provided. A processing module determines whether a mesh network configuration message of the apparatus has space to packet an information element and determines whether to transmit a Neighbor Link Establishment information element to one of the nodes. If the mesh network configuration message has space to packet an information element and the Neighbor Link Establishment information element needs to be transmitted to one of the nodes, the Neighbor Link Establishment information element will be packeted into the mesh network configuration message. Finally, a transmission module transmits the mesh network configuration message to the nodes in order to solve the problem of increasing time during link establishment and avoid deadlock among the nodes when the apparatus of the prior art establishes links with the nodes simultaneously.
Abstract: A magnetic resonance imaging system is provided, which can provide the homogeneous magnetic field to obtain a head anatomic image with a high resolution and high SNR by coaxially disposing a receive-only phased array antenna inside a transmit-only antenna with a predetermined gap, and thereby a detailed and accurate image of a man's head can be obtained.
