Abstract: Disclosed is a lens system for a telescopic camera comprised of a primary lens, a secondary lens and a tertiary lens. The primary lens is a positive lens having a convex front surface and an aspheric back surface which define an optical axis. The secondary lens is a negative lens which has a concave front surface and a concave back. The front surface of the secondary lens is positioned at a predetermined fixed distance adjacent to the back surface of the primary lens and centered with respect to the optical axis. The tertiary lens is a field flattening lens having a convex front surface and a convex back surface. The front surface of the tertiary lens is positioned at a predetermined fixed distance adjacent to the back surface of the secondary lens, wherein the primary, secondary and tertiary lenses have surfaces shaped to focus on an object viewed such that a field of view of about 4.2.degree.
Abstract: A multipurpose recreational cart comprised of a round barrel shaped body, a handle for pushing or pulling the cart, a lid opening to expose the interior of the barrel and a chair pivotally connected in the interior of the barrel such that when the lid is opened a chair is exposed.
Abstract: Disclosed is a wire rack display unit having vertical support means, horizontal wires attached to and movable along the length of the vertical wires and brackets. In a preferred embodiment the brackets are attached to the horizontal wires by means of positive lock mechanism.
Abstract: Disclosed is an oscillator circuit comprised of a sharp bandpass filter having an input and an output; a linear gain stage having an input and an output, the output of the sharp bandpass filter being connected to the input of the linear stage; a limiter having an input and an output, the output of the linear stage being connected to the input of the limiter; and a feedback loop having an input and an output, the output of the limiter being connected to the input of the feedback loop and the output of the feedback loop being connected to the input of the sharp bandpass filter, wherein the improvement being comprised of the limiter being a symmetrical active clamp.
Abstract: A process for the manufacture of compounds of the general formula ##STR1## wherein R.sup.1 signifies hydroxy or an etherified hydroxy group, and of zeaxanthin by converting a compound of the general formula ##STR2## wherein R.sup.1 has the above significance, in an inert organic solvent into the acetylenide and reacting this with methyl vinyl ketone, reducing the alcoholate obtained or the alcohol (obtained after hydrolysis of the alcoholate) of the general formula ##STR3## wherein R.sup.1 has the above significance, and subsequently hydrolyzing to give the compound of formula IV and, if desired, converting the compound of formula IV obtained into zeaxanthin.
Abstract: Disclosed is a valve apparatus having water inlet and outlet pipes, means for maintaining water which may have ruptured from a water storage tank in a water containment area, a float within the water containment area, a float-rod attached to the float which has a triangular gear attached to the other end of the float-rod. The triangular gear interacts with a circular gear when the float-rod is raised causing the circular gear to rotate away from the valve housing pulling a rod which causes a metal strip to be pulled over the water outlet pipe preventing water from being delivered from the valve housing to the ruptured water storage tank. The on/off switch of a water pump may also be connected to the float-rod such that the water pump is turned on when the float-rod is turned on pumping water out of the water containment area.
Abstract: A truck bed extender comprising a platform which is removably attachable to the rear end of a truck; the platform including a plurality of rods with lips, provided on one side of the platform, the lips engaging the rear end of the truck bed when the rods are inserted between the rear end of the truck bed and the front end of a horizontal positioned open tailgate.
