Abstract: There is disclosed a method for evaluating acellular biological fluid for viral DNA, such as DNA of the Hepatitus-B virus, whereby the acellular biological fluid is treated to immobilize in denatured form the DNAs including the suspect viral DNA on a solid support or substrate with the resulting solid substrate being contacted with a solution including radioisotropically-labeled viral denatured DNA followed by analysis of solid substrate for radioisotopically-labeled suspect viral renatured DNA.
Abstract: There is disclosed an apparatus for mounting elements on a roof, the elements having a mounting bracket, and the roof being formed by a plurality of beam supports wherein are mounted a plurality of spaced transverse roof supports having a fixably attached roof convering thereon, the roof covering having a plurality of bores therethrough, said apparatus comprising a sleeve member positioned on said roof covering and formed by a plate member having an opening therethrough and a tubular collar member affixed to the plate member in axial alignment with the opening in the plate member thereby forming a duct. The duct is positioned in axial alignment with the bore in the roof covering.
Abstract: There is disclosed a novel cover and container assembly having a container portion and a cover portion wherein there is formed a bellows-like portion of at least two annular grooves separated by a ridge on the cover or container portion for dampening external pressure forces after impact and further having an interlocking assembly providing a contact area between the cover and the container. The interlocking assembly provides a snap-type closing which ensures a tighter fit with less chance of opening with one annular groove including rib members located near the edge of the cover, with the rib members providing means for separating the cover from the container.
Abstract: There is disclosed a process for manufacturing surface coverings including the steps of printing a design on a base layer; overlying the printed base layer with a coating of substantially transparent or translucent material; printing a subsequent design using an ink including decorative particles on such transparent or translucent overlying material; and overlaying the ink printed design with a substantially transparent or translucent material prior to subsequent processing, such as heat curing to ensure an effectively fused product of the resulting surface covering. The present invention may include the required processing steps of chemical or mechanical embossing as more clearly hereinafter described.

Abstract: A propel-repel solid stick dispenser for deodorants, anti-perspirants and other cosmetics, medicaments or the like in which the external container is closed, preferably by use of an integral, one-piece body, except for the opening for application, which opening may be sealed by means of a detachable cap thereby securing the dispensable material against air deterioration or evaporation and including means for advancing and retracting the stick of dispensable material by one-handed fingertip rotational manipulation by the hand holding the dispenser.
Abstract: An improved cover and can assembly having a novel interlocking assembly comprised of a two "ball and socket" configuration thereby providing a greater surface or contact area between the cover or lid and the container. The novel interlocking assembly provides a snap-type closing which insures a tighter fit with far less chance of opening with the cover being provided with an annular groove including rib members located near the edge of the cover with the rib members providing means for separating the cover from the container.
