    Abstract: A release coating composition for use with, for example, adhesive tapes, comprising a low release strength silicone-based polymer, a high release strength silicone-based polymer, a metal salt of a carboxylic acid, and a dihydroxyterminated polymer of a conjugated diene. The relative amounts of high release strength silicone-based polymer and dihydroxyterminated polymer of a conjugated diene can be varied to give varying release force strengths of the respective coating compositions.
