Abstract: The banding device for application to a segment of footwear, whether it be to the heel, sole, around the vamp portion of the shoe, in any combination thereof, which due to its elasticity allows for its stretching into position to be secured either as an endless or continuous loop, for application to these components of the shoe to vary the coloration, design, indicia, trademark, or other aesthetics for the footwear.

Abstract: A safety breakaway connector has a male fitting and a female fitting inserted into one another. The female fitting includes a swivel that rotates about an angle to a breakaway portion of the invention. The swivel has a female portion connected to the breakaway portion and a male portion that pivotally connects to a nozzle. The male portion has an axis spaced apart from the axis of the breakaway portion. The male portion rotates or pivots about the female portion subject to a biased cam. The biased cam has a ball bearing that travels within a race formed in the male swivel. The biased cam provides an offset to the connector so that a fuel line in communication therewith avoids an orientation perpendicular to the direction of travel of a vehicle. The breakaway portion then detaches the fuel line cleanly from the swivel that remains with the fuel nozzle.

Abstract: A rotary tumbler metal reclaimer includes an inner cylinder and a concentric outer cylinder that rotate simultaneously. The inner cylinder includes a first compartment that intakes material for breaking by teeth, a second compartment that receives broken material from the first compartment and crushes the material into smaller particles and a third compartment wherein particulate material enters the space between the inner cylinder and the outer cylinder by attrition through perforated screens. The second compartment includes a crusher having various features for crushing lump material as it rotates. The third compartment provides further breakage and conveyance of particulate material. Particulate material then returns proximate the intake for screening into fine and coarse sizes and then collecting for reuse. Metallics and metallic oxides exit the tumbler through apertures in the rear of the third compartment for collection. The tumbler reclaims metals, metallic oxides, sands, and other materials for reuse.

Abstract: A compressed building block formed of a pre-mix of fly ash, Class C type, are combined with various aggregates either ground wood and/or chips, having maybe a small amount of Portland cement added thereto, moisturized, and then either molded, extruded or compressed in a press into the configuration of a block. A plasticizer, wetting agent and surfactant solution may be added to the composition. Boron as a mold retardant and an insecticide, may be added to the composition, to provide the formed block with further beneficial attributes. The blocks may be formed by a system for extruding such blocks from the formulation, or they may be formed by means of a mold or hydraulic or other press and pressed into the configuration of the desired block, needed for the construction.

Abstract: A decoy, fashioned to represent a male turkey, having a substructure constructed of tubular material, including a turkey head supported upright, an integrally extending lengthy support for holding the turkey body, and a downwardly depending tube, for impaling within the ground; and expandable turkey body made of flexible, nylon material printed to the image of a real life make turkey, expands into an open position around the body supporting portion of the tubular structure, to hold the body of the turkey in place.

Abstract: A nozzle display for use for holding advertising is integrated into the structure of the nozzle guard, is elevated therefrom, but secured by tabs integrally into the plastisol forming the guard, with an expansive transparent cover holding the advertising material or placard in place upon the display base, and firmly adhering the ad to the base by means of the expandable lip of the cover as it tightly embraces the edges of the display base.

Abstract: A structurally integrated high pressure, hydraulic hand-held tool for cutting the hooves on horses. The tool includes a handle, with a hydraulic flow line provided centrally therethrough, a chamber integrated into the upper end of the handle, the chamber comprising a piston, so that as hydraulic fluid is exerted into the handle chamber, it forces the piston upwardly and out of the handle chamber, and at the upper end of the tool are a pair of mounts, that pivotally connect a pair of opposing jaws, each jaw having a cutting blade, and including links and a clevis that pivotally move the jaws and their cutting blades into a cutting action upon the horse hooves.

Abstract: A separable tag for bags or other containers, each tag comprising a laminar tag-like member having a series of layers, generally an upper and lower layer, the upper layer contains print materials such as for functioning as a coupon, and its is adhesively applied but peelable from a bottom layer of the tag that is securely affixed to the packaged food product. The tags may be formed continuously, but pulled free at a line of perforation, when applied manually or by machine to the bags.

Abstract: A chair pad has foldable panels for movement and shipment. A hard wood chair pad forms from multiple elongated rigid planks, processed like hardwood flooring. The chair pad provides a substantially rigid surface that folds easily for transport and shipping. The rigid planks utilized in the chair pad, similar to hardwood flooring planks, have sufficient thickness such that when they are bonded in an adjacent side by side abutting manner along the longer lengthwise edges similar to some hardwood flooring and further bonded to a backing in an adjacent side by side manner, the planks form a substantially rigid surface. The planks connect adjacently lengthwise along their long side edges.

Abstract: A nursing bottle formed of a large volume container, incorporating a vent tube that extends to vent pressure at all times. The nursing bottle may have a cylindrical shape or other configuration that prevents formula placed therein from blocking the vent tube regardless of its angular disposition. The vent tube extends distally from the vent insert, operatively associated with a collar, that holds the vent structures and the nipple to the wide rimmed opening. In addition, the vent tube has a conical shape of decreasing diameter distally toward the center of the bottom to dissipate the pressure that may cause leakage from the bottle. Further, the vent insert has a major and minor seal that prevents leaks out of the collar and onto an infant.

Abstract: This apparatus is a device for removal of cataracts from the eyes of patient. The apparatus includes a hand piece, with an irrigation water line, a vacuum line and a power line provided therein, are all connected with the hand piece. Within the hand piece the vacuum line is attached to a tube, identified as the horn, concentric with the outer shell of the hand piece. Through a hooks and slider joint, bayonet type or threaded joint in the front end, the horn connects with a surgical needle. At the front end of the irrigation tube it discharges water into a chamber, which irrigation water passes between the needle and an outer sleeve and into the anterior chamber of the eye. Ultrasonic waves transmitted to the horn are conveyed to the tip of the needle where the axial vibrations of the tip may be used to comminute cataract material.
