  • Patent number: 6082359
Abstract: A dual cylinder manifold comprising a flexible, high pressure hose member connected between a first and a second interconnector that funnels pressurized air from two cylinders containing pressurized air to a single regulator. In operation, the first interconnector is attached to a first cylinder valve, the second interconnector to the second cylinder valve, and a regulator attached to the second interconnector. The hose member may be removably connected to the interconnectors so that it can be replaced with another hose member if desired. The manifold may also include valve connectors attached to the interconnectors for connecting to the cylinder valves, a valve adaptor for adapting the second interconnector to receive a regulator of differing connecting design where necessary, a valve connector for making the intended regulator compatible with the second interconnector, or combinations thereof.

  • Patent number: 5920634
Abstract: An audio advertising display standard for use as a placard, real estate sale/lease advertising standard, or other advertising uses, that supports a visual display panel and provides auditory information about a property, place of business, event, exhibit, or object upon activation by an attendant listener. The advertising standard of the present invention preferably comprises a combination of a hollow post and orthogonal arm, means for supporting a display panel, means for playing back a prerecorded audio message whenever activated including a speaker mounted on the post or arm, and a publicly accessible means for activating the play back means. The display standard of the present invention may further include means for recording an audio message for subsequent play back including a microphone, means for activating the recording means, and/or means for illuminating the display panel supported by the standard.

  • Patent number: 5813094
Abstract: A device comprising a slidable fastener or slidable fastener stringer affixed to a hollow channel member, wherein said channel member has an upper and a lower edge defining a longitudinal opening for receiving and holding the interlocking elements and/or a portion of the tape of a stringer belonging to an inoperable slidable fastener. The device of the present invention is used particularly to remedy the problem of an inoperable fastener already installed in the article, without removing the inoperable fastener from its article, by connecting the present invention to the old stringer/fastener thereby interposing a functioning fastener/stringer in said article between the stringers of the existing, inoperable fastener.

  • Patent number: 5759032
Abstract: A dental curing accessory that fits on the light emitting tip of a curing light and is pressed against a photocurable material and its immediate underlying structure such as a tooth, appliance, or dental structure while the photocurable material is polymerizing. The present invention is a partially hollow tubular body having a receiving portion which fits onto the curing light tip, and also has a light permitting contact portion which contacts the photocurable material transferring pressure from the device to the photocuring site. Pressure delivered to the photocuring site through the present invention promotes intimate contact between a photocurable material and a structure to which the photocurable material is bonded or attached to, providing a stronger bond, reducing voids in the photocurable material, contouring the photocurable material against the structure resulting in a more even surfaced product requiring less finishing work, and substantially preventing the formation of an oxygen inhibited layer.

  • Patent number: 5588990
Abstract: Blended cement compositions for mixture with aggregate and water to prepare cementitious products. Such blended cement compositions contain cement, calcined diatomaceous earth, calcined kaolin, and about 0.5% to about 4% (w/w) of potassium, with or without talc and/or bentonite or their functional equivalents. Admixtures for blending into cement to create such blended cements or their read-mix equivalents contain calcined kaolin, calcined diatomaceous earth, and potassium, with or without talc and/or bentonite or their functional equivalents.

  • Patent number: 5504191
Abstract: Herein disclosed are several pentapeptide methyl ester derivatives of dolatin 10, using both naturally occurring and modified amino acids. The selected modified amino acids are constituents of dolastatin 10 which is a structurally distinct peptide with excellent in vitro and in vivo antineoplastic activity.
