Abstract: A self-contained modular home a first section, a second section and a top section, each section having an interior which is 100% complete and an exterior which requires only siding or other exterior finish for completion. The three sections of the self-contained modular home are designed to be transported on a low boy trailer or other transport system to a permanent foundation site. The modular home incorporates a unique steel cable lifting system within the floor system which enables the modules to be set on the foundation with or without the use of a crane. The modular home is bolted to a permanent slab foundation by a steel strap securing arrangement in such a manner that a one and half inch air space is created under the home.

Abstract: A method and an apparatus for examining the subsurface microstructure of a sample are provided. Radiation from a plurality of optical radiation sources travels along a first optical path. In the first optical path, a device focuses the optical radiati n from each of the optical sources into a plurality of respective focal points along the first optical path to provide substantially continuous coverage of a selected portion of the first optical path. Then, a sample on the first optical path within the selected length extending into the sample is scanned along said selected portion of the first optical path.

Abstract: An electrical disconnect locking device which can be installed at the weather head of a dwelling in order to connect and disconnect electrical flow from a power source to a dwelling. The locking device comprises a housing having rotating plates than can be rotated in a first direction to matingly engage a pair of female couplings such that electrical current flows freely and that can be rotated in a second opposite direction away from the pair of female couplings such that electrical current is disconnected. The locking device includes a unique key member which is configured to engage a rotating shaft which is in connection with the rotating plates. The use of the unique key member prevents unauthorized access to the locking device.

The sanitary door opener preferably is manufactured from a single piece of durable and flexible metal material and is bent to form a front face, a bottom face, a rear face, a top face extending outwardly from the rear face, and a lip extending downwardly from the top face. The door opener is installed easily to a door by sliding the door opener under a door such that the front face contacts the front panel of the door, the bottom face contacts the bottom edge of the door and the rear face contacts the rear panel of the door. Once installed in the desired position, the door opener is secured to the door by mounting the front face to the door's front panel and the rear face to the door's rear panel.

Abstract: A simple and sturdy holder for hand-held tools comprising a belt clip for attachment to a user's belt, an angled hook which is retained at one end by the belt clip and a strap member for securely retaining a hand-held tool. Attachment of the strap member to the belt clip permits the thus-held tool to be carried conveniently by the workman without requiring the use of his hands. Ideally, the belt clip may be manufactured in standardized lengths to permit the use of the tool holder with belts of varying, common widths. An optional cushioning device may be used to provide padding against the body of the workman and, thereby, to improve comfort.

Abstract: A bed which is pivotable from a horizontal arrangement to a vertical arrangement to controllably invert a human body from a supine position to an inverted position. The arrangement of the bed is controlled by at least one electric actuator so that injured or ill persons may attain the inverted position safely and easily. Hanging by their legs, users are suspended in the inverted position by a trapeze bar which is supported within a rotatable leg attachment; by adjusting the position of the trapeze bar and the angle of the leg attachment, selective stimulation may be applied to targeted acupressure points. Abstract: A timekeeping system comprising one or more portable timekeeping devices, each portable timekeeping device being configured to start, stop and otherwise control a remote timer adapted to maintain an official time and optionally at least one other time, such as a game clock. Each portable timekeeping device includes a wireless transmitter and a triggering member, activation of the triggering member actuates a wireless signal which is sent to the remote timer in order to stop the official time. The timekeeping system also can include two-way communication between the remote timer and each portable timekeeping device. The two-way communication enables the official time and any other times being maintained by the remote timer to be displayed on each portable device. The portable timekeeping device and system is designed primarily for use with sporting events, particularly, but not limited to, hockey, football and basketball.

Abstract: A medication dispensing system capable of connecting to the Internet is provided. The medication dispensing system can be in the form of a periphery device having electronic means for linkage to a personal computer, PDA, cell phone or WEB TV or can be a stand-alone, on-site terminal having means to connect to the Internet. The medication dispensing system comprises a rotatable medication tray having a plurality of compartments, a servo-mechanism operatively connected to the medication dispensing tray, a microprocessor based controller electronically connected to the servo-mechanism and being programmable to rotate the dispensing tray at a pre-set time. The controller also comprises a data store for maintaining and transmitting a variety of patient information, including the patient's medication regimen and compliance schedule.

Abstract: An internet message system is provided that enables a user to compose an electronic greeting message and transmit the greeting message to any e-mail address over the Internet from a remote location. The internet message system is housed within a self-contained unit, such as a kiosk, such that it can be situated within various recreational and vacation locations. A payment system, incorporated within the internet message system, provides the user with access to the system upon receipt and verification of payment. In operation, the user selects from a variety of selectable greeting formats, including both real-time and pre-loaded still images, video segments, audio segments and text message lines, and combinations thereof which are integrated in the composition of the electronic greeting.
