The method comprising the steps of: establishing the DPPSP as a qualified fund in accordance with Internal Revenue Service provisions; providing retirement benefits accident, and health benefits within the DPPSP; determining an allocation of employee contributions and employer contributions to the DPPSP between the retirement benefits, accident benefits and health benefits based on a predetermined formula; and establishing that i) the employer contributions and ii) the accident and health benefits are excluded from taxation as income, based on federal income tax exclusion rules.
Abstract: Computers and data processing systems, especially pertaining to a constant-dollar financial product. Exemplary implementations include, a machine, a method for use and method for making, and corresponding products produced thereby, as well as data structures, computer-readable media tangibly embodying program instructions, manufactures, and necessary intermediates of the foregoing. Respectively, computers can use private, constant-dollar financial product data and nominal dollar data corresponding thereto, and communicate so as to cooperate (e.g., including transmit, receive) in computing a constant dollar to nominal dollar conversion for a financial product, the computers generating different output.

Abstract: A computer system implementing at least one investment. A computer has a processor, connected to a memory device, to an input device, and to an output device, the processor programmed to control steps including: forming a synthetic investment fund by entering, as some of the input information, at least one of the group consisting of an amount of an interest-bearing asset, and an amount of a derivative instrument, and entering a specification of a relationship for the amounts; entering, as some of the input information, respective market prices for the interest-bearing asset and for the derivative instrument; calculating a unit value for each said class of interests in the fund in response to the market prices; and generating output for investor reporting, the output including holding data for each said class of interests in the fund and the unit value for each said class of interests in the fund.
Abstract: A method for implementing an employee stock ownership plan by monitoring performance of an equity-issuing commercial entity purchasing a predetermined percentage of a commodity used by said commercial entity, and transferring, under binding call options, an equity interest in said commercial entity, computer-tracking at least one of contributions and deductible dividends in transit to the employee stock ownership plan; and monitoring securitized advances made by a commodity trust to the commercial entity to enable said commercial entity to purchase said commodity.
Abstract: A method implemented with a machine, the machine, and the method for using the machine, and products produced thereby, the method including using a digital electronic computer having a processor programmed for electronically processing input data into output data, the computer electronically connected to an input device and to output devices, for calculating expected and projected results of assumptions related to specific contractual exposures (either underlying plans of insurance or reinsurance, or contractual insurable risk exposure to individuals, or corporate contractual benefit payment exposures to individuals), maintaining and storing such calculations, periodically comparing the expected and projected results to actual occurrences results as inputted into the computer, calculating the differences between actual and projected results and preparing reports of the results of the calculations.

Abstract: Computer-aided methods (making and using), along with a corresponding machine, article of manufacture, and data structures, is provided for using a computer system to implement a financial transaction, the method including the steps of: providing a first web site having identifier data; encrypting the identifier data; using a URL to log on to a second web site, said log on using the encrypted identifier data for passing the encrypted identifier data to a second web site; and implementing the financial transaction by using the encrypted identifier data from the second web site. A browser can be employed to communicate payment data over the Internet for reconciling a payment for the purchase invisibly to the purchaser by using the payment data communicated by the browser to implement the financial transaction.
Abstract: Computer machine, manufacture, methods of making and using the same, and product produced thereby, each pertaining to valuing, trading, and/or documenting securities that produce mostly tax-exempt income. A method includes making a second financial analysis output having a second computed valuation for property, the financial analysis output being made by steps including: controlling a computer in generating as output a valuation for an income-producing security, the security not a tax-exempt security, most of the income produced by the security being tax-exempt; communicating some of the output to a second computer for generating the second valuation; and generating the second financial analysis output, including the second valuation, at the second computer.
Abstract: A computer-aided method for operating a customizable investment fund, the method includes receiving, at a central computer, first digital signals from a first computer specifying a custom set of investments for a fund; receiving, at the central computer, second digital signals from a second computer specifying a custom set of investments for the fund; generating, at the central computer, digital signals for acquisition of investments consistent with the first digital signals and the second digital signals; entering transaction data, at the central computer, reflecting the acquisition of said investments; and outputting a separate accounting for each said set of investments within the fund.
Abstract: Computer system and method to generate an ornamental design on a member from a group consisting of a courier waybill shipping label, a greeting card, and a packing list, the method including: assigning, with a consumer system, signals corresponding to the member; transmitting the signals to an order center; combining, the signals with signals corresponding to an ornamental design; printing the member and printing the ornamental design on the member, at a shipper printer device; and shipping the member under control of the order center computer in accordance with waybill shipping information signals triggered by the ordering center computer.
Abstract: A computer system for changing signals to separately value components temporally decomposed from residential property, the computer system including: an input device operable for converting input data representing the residential property into input signals representing the input data; a computer having a processor, the processor connected to the input to receive the input computer signals, the processor programmed to change the input signals to produce modified signals representing a separate market-based valuation of each of a plurality of components temporally decomposed from the property, the components including a residential estate for years interest and a residential remainder interest; and an output device connected to the processor to convert the modified signals into an illustration including the respective valuation of each of the components.
