Abstract: A mascara applicator with vibrating applicator head. The head is caused to vibrate in a controlled manner through electro-mechanical urging. The frequency, amplitude and geometry of the vibrating head are sufficient to significantly alter the rheological properties of thixotropic and anti-thixotropic mascara compositions, including an effect that persists after the vibration has stopped. The device allows the mascara to be manipulated for improved results, greater flexibility in formulation, benefits in manufacture, as well as other benefits.

Abstract: The invention relates to a hairbrush comprising a head region and a handle region, the handle region comprising a stem, the stem having a deformable grip located thereon.
Abstract: The present invention is an eyeliner applicator and method of using the applicator. The applicator comprises two arms, each arm having a proximal and a distal end. The proximal ends of the arms are supported such that the distal ends of the arms are maintained in a spaced apart relationship. An applicator surface extends from the distal end of one arm to the distal end of the other arm. The proximal ends of the arms may be connected directly to each other or to an intermediary member. Optionally, a handle may depend from the arms or the intermediary member. Optionally, the applicator surface is treated in any of various ways to enhance its functioning. Optionally, a stabilizing member is provided for bracing the applicator against the body during application. Optionally, a supply of applicator surface material is provided to allow the applicator surface to be replaced between applications.
Abstract: Turning case mechanism particularly for cosmetic products, composed of a pivoting body mounted in rotation on a main piece, formed by a traveler, base and hinge elements connecting the base to the traveler, between a lower articulation point with the base and an upper articulation point with the traveler; said traveler intended to be mobile between an open or upper position and a closed or lower position, characterized in that when the traveler is in the lower position, the hinge elements are arranged at least in part below the horizontal plane that contains the lower articulation point.
