Abstract: A water temperature control device wherein the relative inflows of hot and cold water into a mixing chamber and then to an outlet are controlled by a mercury filled temperature sensing element, the volume expansion or contraction of the mercury activating a slave cylinder and connecting linkage to open and close in compensatory fashion the valves allowing increased and decreased water flows from the cold and hot water supplies.
Abstract: A clear plastic device for the sampling of aviation fuel to allow visual inspection for contaminants that may be contained therein. The hand-held device operates in a "groove" mode or a "prong" mode for different fuel tank quick-release valves. A float inside the device allows visualization of the position of a gasoline-water interface.
