The apparatus, method and system provides for selection between feature values FVA-FVX of the gaming machine.

Abstract: A method and system for verifying the continued presence of the same player at a gaming machine is provided. The system comprises a device for continuously obtaining verification data samples, wherein each verification data sample relates to one or more physical features of a first player. A subsequently obtained verification data sample is analyzed to determine whether it is substantially similar to a previously obtained verification data sample. If the subsequent verification data sample is substantially similar to the previously obtained verification data sample, then the system determines that the first player continues to be the same player present at the gaming machine.

Abstract: A download and data transfer gaming system utilizes a hybrid peer-to-peer, segmented file distribution protocol to vastly improve the download capabilities of a gaming system by improving the upload cost burdened by the download host. The system redistributes this cost to the download clients by allowing clients on the gaming system to upload pieces of a file to each other. This system is much more redundant by eliminating the possibility of a client missing a download broadcast. The system alleviates this possibility of missing packets and bad data integrity by using SHA-1 verification of the file pieces. The benefits of the improved bandwidth capabilities enable the download of much larger files, thus enhancing the game play experience.

Abstract: A system and method are set for pyrolysis of waste feed material including a first retort segment disposed through a combustion chamber and a second retort segment disposed outside of the combustion chamber. The combustion chamber supplies the heat for pyrolysis to the material conveyed through the first retort segment, which pyrolysis is completed as it is conveyed through the second retort segment. A thermal oxidizer oxidizes off gases and a stack unit provides a draft to move the gases from pyrolysis from the retort segments and through the thermal oxidizer.

Abstract: A series transmission line transformer is set forth which includes two or more of impedance matched sets of at least two transmissions lines such as shielded cables, connected in parallel at one end ans series at the other in a cascading fashion. The cables are wound about a magnetic core. The series transmission line transformer (STLT) which can provide for higher impedance ratios and bandwidths, which is scalable, and which is of simpler design and construction.

Abstract: Improved Baccarat Game methods and a device for playing the games are set forth wherein players each make a wager and are dealt a two-card hand of cards. A Banker hand is dealt with two cards face down and a third card face up. Players can receive a third card to better their hand value, modulo ten. After all players have completed their hands, the Banker hand is completed based upon established rules which may or may not include the third, exposed Banker card. According to another embodiment the Banker may receive a third and fourth card face up and eliminate the higher of the two. If the banker is entitled to use a third card, the remaining card is summed with the other two Banker cards. Each Player hand and the Banker hand are compared in a manner similar to Baccarat.

The pot wagers are determined by comparing the players hands inter se to determine which player has the highest ranked holding, also according to the rules of the game. For certain dealer hands or communal holdings, the dealer wins the pot. No commission or levy is made against the pot by the casino. The system provides interlinked games to practice the method.

Abstract: A method, compositions and kit are set forth for detecting blood stains. A reactant solution includes fluorescin solubilized (reduced) in acetic acid in ethanol. The solution may be buffered to a pH of approximately 9. After spraying the reactant solution on the suspected area an oxidizer is applied to promote the fluorescin to fluorescein reaction with the blood. The reacted fluorescein is then detected through luminescence for capture by photography.

Abstract: An electronic gaming device and method are set forth which provides for dynamically selected pay tables. For each hand or series of hands the device selects a prevailing pay table or a prevailing pay for one or more outcomes. The prevailing pay table can be randomly selected from a plurality of pay tables, pseudo-randomly selected or can be selected based upon the player's strategy of play.

Abstract: A device and method are set forth playing a game of Bingo while at the same time playing Poker. A processor displays a player Bingo card representing a 5×5 matrix and selects a virtue card against which the player competes. Each matrix coordinate has a Bingo number/letter assigned thereto. Bingo numbers are selected and compared to those on the matrices. At each concordance, a playing card value is assigned. The selection is terminated when the virtual Bingo card or player Bingo card obtains a predetermined Bingo. For any predetermined patterns formed by card values on the player Bingo card, the player receives an award. Also the player can select a row, column or diagonal and use the selected cards to form a Poker hand. If the player obtains a predetermined Poker holding, the played receives and award.

Abstract: An improved bidet device is set forth which includes a rotatable handle and capstan for positioning a spray tube and for opening the supply of water to the tube for spraying. A screw is received by the capstan to mount the handle and is further provided with a radial port. An actuator is coupled to the screw for rotation of the screw relative to the capstan to modulate the flow of water through the device. The actuator may be ergonometrically designed.

Abstract: A method is set forth which minimizes a player's loss when wagering on the outcomes of a set of games. The player makes an initial wager for N outcomes of N(X+Y) where X is the wager for the outcome and Y is the casino's vigorish. If the player has greater than one-half of winning outcomes W of the set, they are paid W(X+Y+X). Where half or less than half of the set N are winning outcomes, the player is paid one half of the original wager.
