Abstract: Anti-theft audio component mounting apparatus is provided in accordance with the teachings of the present invention. A sleeve member specifically configured to easily mount within a vehicle dashboard is arranged to be tightly secured and mounted within such dashboard and accept all connections provided in the dashboard for a dash mounted audio component. A cap member for accepting all electrical connections from a selected audio component is provided for mounting over an end portion of the selected audio component in such manner as to seal the end portion of the audio component. The cap member is provided with a plurality of externally available, recessed contacts and the sleeve member is provided with a corresponding plurality of internally disposed contacts.
Abstract: Driver-vehicle behavior display apparatus is provided wherein data representing a vehicle's performance capability envelope and a polar plot of forces imposed by a driver on a vehicle are superimposed in real time upon video information representing a driver's view of roadway being traversed. In addition, bar graph information corresponding to accelerator position and brake pressure may also be provided and superimposed upon such video information. The resulting video signal may be viewed directly, transmitted to a remote viewing station, or recorded in a conventional VCR.
