  • Patent number: 5796223
Abstract: An apparatus for driving an electromagnetic load by applying a high voltage at the initial driving stage and thereafter applying a constant hold current is provided with a switch for supplying high-voltage energy to the electromagnetic load from a capacitor for storing high-voltage energy and a control circuit responsive to an electric signal for starting electromagnetic load driving and the output voltage of the capacitor. The control circuit turns the switch on at application of the electric signal and keeps it on until the output voltage reaches a prescribed level. The apparatus of this configuration enables optimum timing of changeover from high-voltage application mode operation to hold mold operation with simple circuitry.

  • Patent number: 4730539
Abstract: An automatic weapon is provided with a device for increasing the rate of fire. The breech mechanism of the weapon is controlled by means of recoil movements which arise on discharge of the weapon, and by an operating cam and spring member included in the breech mechanism. Two case ejectors are disposed for arresting the breech block in the total recoil position of the breech and holding the breech block in the open position for ramming-home of a new round. In the arrested position of the breech block, the ejectors are exposable to the new round during its ramming cycle. A portion of the kinetic energy inherent in the round is transmitted to the ejectors which, may accompany the round and release the breech block for actuation by the spring member towards its closed position. The operating cam is movably disposed at least when the breech is located in the total recoil position.

  • Patent number: 4527487
Abstract: Device for ensuring the vertical suspension of the chassis of a bogie and the longitudinal and transverse coupling of each box of the chassis in a driving or carrying railway bogie, comprising a vertical suspension spring through which the bogie frame is supported on the axle box, thereby creating a rotary torque on this box, and including two flexible couplings mounted spaced in altitude between the frame and the axle box so as to be compressed when the axle box tends to rotate under the effect of the rotary torque.
