Abstract: A method for reducing imbalance correction weight usage during a balancing operation of a vehicle wheel assembly. An imbalance of the vehicle wheel assembly is initially determined and utilized together with an established acceptable threshold of imbalance for the vehicle wheel assembly to compute a reduced imbalance value having a magnitude less than the determined imbalance. Using the reduced imbalance value, correction weight amounts and placement locations for application to the vehicle wheel assembly are identified.
Abstract: A trailer hitch having an adjustable hitch bar for coupling with a tow vehicle and a front member coupled with the adjustable hitch bar. A rear member couples with a trailer frame and a yoke couples between the rear member and the trailer frame. Converging links connect between the front member and the rear member, whereby the angular position between the front member and the rear member can be varied. The converging links effectively move the pivot point between the tow vehicle and trailer forward of the hitch assembly.
Abstract: A sheet feeder (1) having a stack hopper (9) for holding a stack of sheets (8), and feed belts (5, 6, 7) for advancing the bottom-most sheet from the stack, has traction belts (110, 111, 112) between the feed belts. The traction belts extend around a shaft (25) beneath the hopper and around a shaft (27) positioned intermediate the reach of the feed belts, a short distance short of separators (30, 31). The traction belts are preferably thicker than the feed belts and textured on their outer surface.
Abstract: A soil cover device that removably secures to a plant container to restrict access to soil by children and pets, while facilitating the passage of air, water, and fertilizer to the soil through a plurality of openings. The soil cover device includes a plurality of partition members that removably secure with anchors, which partially imbed into the soil. When assembled, the partition members form an aperture for a plant to extend therethrough.

Abstract: A method for measuring the imbalance characteristics of a rotating body, and for determining if an application of imbalance correction weights is required to reduce the measured imbalance characteristics to an acceptable residual imbalance level.
Abstract: A multilayer parallel plate capacitor with an extremely low inductance comprises a generally rectangular parallelepiped that includes at least one pair of generally rectangular consecutive composite layers stacked parallel to each other in the vertical direction, each composite layer of the pair comprising a dielectric substrate and a conductor plate thereon. Each conductor plate includes two or more lead portions to enable connection to terminal electrodes, and plates on consecutive composite layers are connected to terminal electrodes of opposite polarity. Each conductor plate advantageously includes one or more non-conductive regions comprising slots in the transverse direction, and one or more non-conductive regions comprising slots in the longitudinal direction. These slots provide directionality to the electrical currents through the plates, resulting in a capacitor structure with greatly reduced inductance.
