Abstract: A wildlife guard for electrical power equipment including a body constructed to mount onto the equipment. The body has an electrically conductive layer thereon. The electrically conductive layer comprises an electrically insulating material with a conductive filler material in quantity sufficient for the guard to maintain an electrostatic charge. The electrically conductive layer is bonded to the body by over-molding or co-molding techniques. The electrically conductive layer can be continuous or can be discrete segments separated by non-conductive segments. The body can be constructed from a conductive or non-conductive material.
Abstract: A method of obtaining Social Security disability benefits for uninsured individuals and providing medical services and medical products during the pendency of a claim for the Social Security disability benefits. The method provides for filing a claim for Social Security disability insurance payments and securing needed medical services and products for the individual, without full payment, during the pendency of the claim. The individual establishes a direct deposit account for deposit of the Social Security disability insurance payment and authorizes an electronic removal of funds from the account upon deposit of retroactive or future Social Security disability insurance payments to pay for the medical services and medical products.
Abstract: Methods and reagents for improved treatment and diagnostic imaging, particularly of cancer. The methods and reagents utilize specific targeting of treatment and imaging ligands to the targeted tumor, or specific organ or tissue, in association with extracorporeal affinity adsorption of the targeting ligand. The targeted species include antibodies as well as other peptides with specific affinity to the targeted tumor organ or tissue. Included are hybrid targeting molecules, such as hybrid F(ab?)2, with one binding site specific for the target and the other binding site specific for the targeted treatment or visualization ligand. The affinity adsorption devices may include adsorbents specific to one or more of the components of the targeting molecule-targeted ligand moiety.
