Abstract: A float type metal-air battery having an air chamber positioned at the center thereof, a weight positioned at the center bottom thereof, two electrolyte chambers positioned on both sides of the air chamber, and two cells positioned on both sides of the air chamber, so that the battery is improved in balance and is facilitated in manufacture.

Abstract: A television tuner arrangement is disclosed including a wide band signal selecting circuit having a solid state voltage variable capacitance selectively controllable in accordance with the level of applied voltage and a channel selector control for controlling the voltage levels applied thereto. The control illustrated herein includes a selector, actuatable to a plurality of channel selection settings, a cylindrically shaped structure providing an external surface of conductive material, and a plurality of voltage taps radially disposed about the surface of the cylindrical structural and mounted for individual movement along the conductive material. A tuning voltage bus is connected to the wide band circuit and is selectively connectable to each of the taps. The cylindrically shaped structure and the taps are mounted for rotation about the axis of the structure and ganged to the selector so that a separate tap is connected to the bus for each channel selection setting.

Abstract: Bolster re-enforcement systems, applicable both to new and existing bolster designs, provide for pre-stressing the bottom bolster center plate region utilizing lugs transmitting tension forces in opposition to the stress pattern applied to the center region of the bolster as the result of vertical loading associated with normal operating conditions.

Abstract: A float type metal-air battery having an air chamber covered by an air pervious, water repellent membrane is provided with a protector lid to enclose the membrane. The lid includes at least one air intake opening. Shelter plates are interposed between the openings and the membrane to thereby prevent water entering through the openings from contacting a substantial portion of the membrane.

Cooperating portions of the feed module and of the photocopying machine form a straight line original document feed path having an entryway that is accessible for conventional insertion of original documents. The feed module includes apparatus for successively feeding original documents from a stack along a direction reversing path that leads to the above entryway of the straight line feed path. The feed module can be pivoted to afford access to the straight line original document path and to permit copying of original documents which cannot be sheet fed. The feed module includes an original document separating arrangement wherein a feed tire and flanking retarder bars are cooperatively disposed so as to obviate need for any adjustment of the arrangement to afford proper feeding of documents of variable thickness.
